Thanks, JerseyGirl, for posting these reports. Hopefully, John's family have answers soon about whether it's him or not.

How far is this from where John's car was abandoned? I don't have a moment to look now but will later tonight.

Condolences to whomever's loved one this turns out to be.

ETA: I couldn't wait to look. Seems as if it's only a few miles to the east (down river) from where John's car was found :(

Edit- I posted info that was already posted. The thread was open on my phone but oddly did not update with a refresh. Sorry.

:welcome: to the thread, BlankMark. I think WS was doing something to the site yesterday because access through my phone was super wonky (technical term) all day.

Now we wait. I'm hoping answers come soon for John's family and friends.

Oh, no! I am deeply saddened by this outcome. My prayers and thoughts go out to John's family and friends tonight. Thank you for posting on his thread (and also to those that kept viewing) all in hopes of him being found safe somewhere. Rest in peace, John.

According to this article, the stained clothing were found on the same day as John's car (2/14) not later on when the information was released to the public, (2/23). I find it interesting how LE operates sometimes.

His 1995 Toyota Camry was found on Feb. 14 at the Green Bank State Forest Station. Stained clothes were found the same day and were sent to a state police lab in an effort to identify what substance created the stains.

I want to know about that last said person who saw him, the police officer Who pulled him over. I want to know what he had to say about the way John appeared, if something seemed off or not, What Kohlbecker had to say about the reason for being in New Jersey at night, because you know cops always ask why you're doing something if you're not in the state where your drivers license says you live. I want to know why there wasn't a statement from the police officer. There is definitely something very suspicious here.

No word yet in MSM about the stained clothing items or the continuing investigation.

Still hoping for answers. RIP John.

It has now been 96 days since we were told to "be patient - keep quiet (media attention could be a bad thing!!) - and wait for test results" (on items found with his car). We were told that these things could take as long as 90 days to complete (DNA tests). It has now been 64 days (at least) since his autopsy was completed - we have been given no results about any testing done in conjunction with his autopsy either.

Update from lead investigator: "Still waiting on DNA results" Apparently laboratory times are much longer than most of us would think.

If we haven't properly welcomed you to Websleuths, Dizzy...

:Welcome1:

I've been wondering if any word has come through to the family, Dizzy. Answers seem right around the corner. Hang tight.
