John Paul Prunkard, 70, of Altoona, was camping and fishing in the area of Reservoir Road near U.S. 22 for several days. On Friday around 7 p.m., Prunkard’s ride arrived to pick him up due to sudden rainfall and he could not be found. Prunkard’s belongings were found packed up in a pile near the Frankstown Bridge at Reservoir Road where he was supposed to be picked up. Prunkhard was last seen using the telephone and waiting for his ride in the parking lot of Mielnik’s Shopping Village Plaza. Prunkard is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs 155 lbspounds. He was last seen wearing glasses and an orange shirt,

I did a Google drive of 22 between the bridge and the Grab 'n Go. Nothing else there. The center with the Grab 'n Go, some houses, the bridge and what looks like a Pyramid monument of some sort.

Only things that come to mind are the river and hitching a ride with a truck driver.

I wonder if anyone checked the small blue building at the end of the parking lot? He might have ducked in there to get out of the heavy rain.

I hate to state the obvious, but I wonder if they pulled the security camera footage from the Grab-N-Go to at least see what direction he wandered off after the phone call.

Frankstown Township, Blair County, Pa. - The search for a missing Blair County man has led to the discovery of a body in the Juniata River.

A search crew with the Geeseytown Fire Department and State Police were searching the river Tuesday morning looking for John Prunkard.

Police have not released information about the identity of the body.
