FB used to be the go to and try and gauge a person. We know how that can work out, but it looks like Mr. Wentzel could handle himself.

He sure did have a list to his name.

Wonder if they have any idea what happened to Joseph? It has been months.

His obit said he served in the Army. Had several children, and a wife. Was a roofer. Liked to hike,camp and fish.

I am his wife. They still have no cause of death. I am trying to find someone to help me to get them to do their job and investigate. They didn't even listen to me that his phone was missing until I had to take the funeral home receipt to the phone store and get his serial numbers and everything to prove that his phone was missing. Please if anyone on this site has any ability to help me get them to investigate and find out who did this I would be eternally grateful!

Have you had any luck on having an investigation opened ? Have you tried reaching out to the lead detective on the case ? If you have taken these steps you could try reaching out to Eric wheickneck at the Berks county sheriff's department spelling is off there's also a Facebook page but I would suggest calling they may be able to point you in the right direction to contact in regards to having an active investigation opened more than likely they're waiting for cod and toxicology to come back that would indicate natural causes suicide or death by homicide when you receive the corner support what was listed as the cause of death
