Circumstances: Clearfield County District Attorney, William A. Shaw, Jr., stated that Demko was first reported missing to the Lawrence Township Police Department on July 1, 2011. Acting on information received by investigators working the case, a coordinated search was conducted near the R.J. Corman Rail Yard in Clearfield Borough. The search expanded to include properties behind the Bionol plant and along the Susquehanna River. Additional information learned during the search caused investigators to search a second site located in the Guinea Hill Road area of Lawrence Township.
