My thoughts are with those who knew and loved her. Such a sad outcome.

I'm surprised they're allowing this present helicopter video. They're in the process of removing her.....people with shovels.
Reminds me of that awful video of Sandra Cantu being found.
Heartsick for her parents.
I wanted to mention the camera crew was actually quite sensitive. Any time they got close to actually possibly viewing remains, the camera cut or zoomed in to the upper left so you could only see standing people. The one officer gathering evidence, her head disappeared every time she bent down to bag and tag something. So at least a sense of decency.

Honestly, it seems like they should have covered every square inch of that place, inside and out including under trees. But she may have been strategically covered with leaf fall and other debris or rocks and unless you look really close, you might not notice. Or she may have been placed there after an initial search.

I can see why people might be upset that she was right there.
Yes I can't understand how they didn't search more thoroughly seen as her belongings were found there , if I were her family I would be very angry right now at the intial searchers . Leaves to much room for What ifs

How scary and sad that old school looks.

I really hope she didn't suffer long.

I can't explain why but this case is really bothering me. Needing to get off early tonight.

RIP dear Kada

RIP and so sorry your dreams were cut short. I’m glad her family can lay her to rest. The not knowing has got to be torture on loved ones.
Have the human remains been identified as Kada?

Have the human remains been identified as Kada?
“Believed to be” as of now: Human remains found in shallow grave 'believed to be' missing Philadelphia woman Kada Scott: Police

“While searching the school grounds on Wednesday they located items believed to belong to Scott, including a cell phone case, an iPad case, glasses and a card bearing her name. The items were recovered by police and are under forensic examination, they said.”

Hard to imagine any other outcome given these personal items having been located in the vicinity of the gravesite. Poor Kada—trying to do everything she could to achieve a happy, successful adult life, and it all ends, as it all too often does, for no good reason at the hands of someone who couldn’t hope to accomplish even a fraction of what she did. Thoughts to her loved ones.
