Kadin Black vanished late Dec. 17 or early Dec. 18 from his family’s home on the first block of Vickilee Drive in Wrightsville. Black had been staying at the home for several months and left unexpectedly, Lower Windsor police Chief Jim Thomas said Wednesday.

Black’s shoes, wallet and cell phone are missing, and some of Black’s social media accounts have been deactivated, according to Thomas.

Black had dinner with a work friend Dec. 16 but did not show up for work Mon., Dec. 19 at Delauters A1 Moving Helpers in York, Thomas said. The friend said they expected to see Black at work on the 19th, and did not know anything about where he could have gone.

Kadin Black from Wrightsville, PA is still missing. He has received little to no media attention outside a press release from his mother that took place two weeks after he was first reported missing. Lower Windsor is a small police dept who is responsible for a large rural area that consists of alot of wooded areas & wrightsville is the same. There is also the Susquehanna River which is walking distance from anywhere in Wrightsville. Wrightsville is also connected to Columbia which is in Lancaster County. To my knowledge no other depts are involved in this. To my knowledge no effort to hold an organized search has been done either. I have reached out to our local news outlets following her press conference but have received no response. <modsnip - no link> Regardless of the reasons, it infuriates me as a mother & as a resident of York County. <modsnip - rumors> Wrightsville is a small river town where everyone knows everyone. Someone absolutely knows something. But as little attn as this has received, they might not know they know. <modsnip - the FB page has not been approved as a source>

He is currently out on bail ($25,000 bond, unsecured) awaiting trial on multiple criminal charges including (but not limited to) Aggravated Assault - Attempts to cause SBI or causes injury with extreme indifference, Aggravated Assault - Attempts to cause or causes BI, Strangulation - Applying Pressure to Throat or Neck, Simple Assault, and1 Terroristic Threats W/ Int To Terrorize Another. Detailed court records with additional charges at the official PA state site (public records). https://ujsportal.pacourts.us/CaseSearch (note - you must select "criminal" under the drop down menu for "docket type" to pull up the records. There are two records, one closed one active. They appear to be the same initial charges, but the second, active one is the most current
