She is apparently from Philadelphia per her FB - and that is more likely than Lake Ariel. Nothing in the local media at all about her being missing.

Lake Ariel is a place where people come from the New York City/Long Island/North New Jersey as well as the Philadelphia area on weekends and over the summer - the Hideout development is rather large and that is where most go (at least in Lake Ariel). The weekend population in the area triples over normal and in the summer is ten times the regular population of the area.
