Family holds onto hope for missing loved one on National Missing Person Day

Katelynn Conrad is one of five missing persons cases in Allegheny County that authorities are highlighting in hopes of garnering new leads.

Stowe Township police searching for missing woman

Stowe Township police are searching for a missing woman.

''Katelynn Conrad was last seen in the Stowe area. She could be near Butler, according to police.

Conrad is 5 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs around 100 pounds. She has blonde hair, but police say that may have changed since she was last seen.''

I'm worried for her, the whole "boyfriend she was visiting sees her leave in a Uber and then she disappears. . ." Red flag time IMO. LE should have been able to substantiate an uber pick up by now.

Another case of a woman last seen by a boyfriend/husband/sig other to then disappear off the face of the planet. The missing persons database is filled with these cases. Many going back to the inception of missing persons reporting. It seems the old ‘she went out to the store and never came back’ has been replaced with ‘she got into an uber/lyft and that’s the last I ever saw of her’.

Surely they have been able to verify if she actually got into an uber or not. Someone had to pay for the Uber.

I personally do not believe the Uber story. IMO there wasn’t any Uber picking her up at all, otherwise there would be more details about a potential updated location as Uber rides can be checked.
As GraceG and Linear13 above, I’m afraid this may be the same old story we hear in so many cases.

Bump for Katelynn, still missing

Katelynn left her family member's house in Oakdale, PA on June 25, 2024 to meet a male friend of hers and was supposed to return in a few hours. The male friend stated he saw her get into an Uber to return back to her family member's house. Katelynn has not been seen or heard from since.
