There are people who read this and know Kaylene <modsnip>.......PLEASE if you know anything, I mean ANY little THING at ALL no matter how insignificant you may think it is .... let us know. <modsnip> If anyone can spread the word anyway they can ... media, FB, Twitter, whatever you can do, please do it. It is horrible to have your family missing. It is horrible to think the absolute worst.... she is a young girl. She has siblings who love her and miss her. She had her whole life ahead of her when she left that night..........

Families of the Missing-Resources, helps, tips

I think there is a lot of information there. The main thing I would do is reach out to one of the groups that Is set up to specifically help the families of the missing. Such as Missing Pieces Network, or Help Save the Next Girl. The resources forum lists other groups that can help as well; these are just the first two I thought of.

I'm Kaylene Oehling's father. I'm sorry to say there is no new updates. We are trying to get as much ground cover with flyers if missing Kaylene Oehling especially in the Etna and Penn hills of Pennsylvania since that is the last place Kaylene was heard from January 10, 2020. Myself, a friend and a state Rep have been working on also doing dives in the rivers at certain locations but Etna police stated to the head of the dive team we are not aloud to search the current locations in mind. But we are working on getting that over turned. Unfortunately there is no new news to report.

Why are you not allowed to search the locations you want to dive? Is it because if you found evidence, it would be compromised? What is the reason they are trying to stop you while also not searching it themselves?

So very sorry nothing to add, but Dear Lord my prayers and very positive thoughts go out that Kaylene will be found safe.

Unimaginable what this family is going through. So, so sorry for your pain.

We are still out looking for Kaylene. MM continues to taunt us with threatening photos of himself. Fliers were put up , and then they were ripped down. We have put them all back up and also a reward is being offered for ANY information that will lead us to her whereabouts. If you are her friend or know where she is, Please contact us. Or the police dept...etna or Allegheny...there are plenty of websites and ways to give information. We can Bring You Hope is helping us search and do all that we can. Please share the information and help us be HER voice.....

Do you have a page on Facebook for Kaylene being missing? Many of these pages have been set-up for missing people. They usually are named, "Help Find (missing person's name)." You would put Kaylene's missing information, Kaylene's missing poster (for people to share), and information about upcoming searches. Keeping the page up-to-date with new information is important, as well as deleting unnecessary or harmful comments quickly. Having a page like this can bring awareness of Kaylene being missing to many additional people.

Maybe her family can correct anything from this post that is incorrect. I apologize in advance if any of this is untrue. I follow the Facebook page dedicated to finding Kaylene, and that’s where this came up from. I’m NOT an insider.

From what I can gather:
1. Kaylene’s phone last pinged the night she went missing, then she disappeared completely. She didn’t contact family on Mother’s Day, which is not something she would do.
2. This is a big one: is she definitely in the third trimester of a pregnancy?
3. There is at least one “friend” who says she talks to Kaylene and she is alive but will not tell her desperate family where Kaylene is now.
(It’s clear that this is absurd. To believe that would be to believe that Kaylene voluntarily went into hiding the very night she was meeting with a dangerous felon, whom she had just put on Facebook information that could land him in jail (about him robbing a laundromat ATM). Her last act before never using her phone again was to delete that very Facebook page with the information about his robbery? And she would skip every OBGYN appointment and possibly give birth in hiding. Additionally, she would have to have the financial resources to live jobless and under the radar, and they would not have been coming from MM because he spent a few months in jail since she has been missing.)


I do have an actual question: has the woman who says she talks to Kaylene told police the same thing? People say a lot of crap on social media, but not many people would be willing to say it to a detective’s face. Is she mentally disturbed?

Have you done any surveillance to see who is taking down the posters? As long as the actor is an adult, you can take a video of them taking down the poster. Once you have identified one or more actors removing the posters, you can turn the information over to LE, but do keep a copy for yourself.
