reportedly never made it to the store and did not return home. Land and water searchers have been underway since in Renovo and surrounding areas. Volunteers gathered at the Renovo Fire Company and searchers were out all day Monday and all day Tuesday. Water rescue search boats were on the Susquehanna River Tuesday

Authorities said she was last seen around six p.m. Sunday when she left her home for the store. Her husband William Joseph “B.J.” Snyder said he didn’t think much about it at first, thinking she probably ran into a friend and was talking. As time went on, he began calling her friends to see if she was visiting.

None said they had seen her. He called the state police and reported her missing. He has among the searchers looking for Kelley.
*Tuesday afternoon. “She was walking to the store to buy two cans of sweet potatoes. She had a small purse with a few dollars and her identification.” He said it he didn’t think she would go anywhere without telling her son Ty.

Friends and relatives said they don’t believe that Kelley Snyder would voluntarily leave her children. Her husband said the family had spent the day relaxing and watching television. Friends said she and her children had colored Easter eggs together.

T.T. Wertz, Kelley Snyder’s sister, said Kelley and her children were in the middle of cooking Easter dinner when she left for the store. “She wouldn’t just walk away.”

Snyder’s close friends Cassandra Mann, Krystle Melvin, Tosha Packer and Heather Bixler were among those on hand at the Renovo Fire Department search staging area. They said another friend, Ashley O’Brien had visited Snyder on Sunday.

B.J. Snyder said all was going well with the family. Kelley had just recently booked reservations for the family for a trip to Disney World in October. “She wouldn’t go anywhere without the kids, without telling my son,” he said.
