I used Richrd's link and saw the cancelled document. *sigh*
Could they be doing this to get him to talk?
This case has so many twists and turns.
I'm trying to shove that out of my mind :tears:Just a guess but *if* it's true that Kelley was found, maybe LE does't want to show their hand for a lesser charge now and are waiting for confirmation in order to file new charges?
Interesting development with the husband being arrested on tampering with or fabricating evidence, while in another state no less. Why a ransom note? Watching too much TV, was he? As we know, ransom kidnappings in the US are rare. Then to confound the situation by saying he received an email from the kidnappers, too? It's rather comical (if it wasn't so darn serious) that he chose this cover, IMO.
So, in light of his arrest, now what do we think happened to Kelley? Who exactly was witness to her leaving the house for sweet potatoes? The kids must have been around. Her scent was followed to about halfway to the store and then, poof, it went cold in the middle of the street.
What scenario works here? Did BJ leave the house shortly after Kelley left for the store? He states that he was home and that after Kelley didn't come home quickly he thought she may have run into an friend and started chatting. He goes on to say that when more time went by he started calling some of her friends to see if they had seen her. If he had something to do with Kelley's disappearance, when did it happen?
Was someone else involved, as some here have alluded? Eileen and Inthedetails sure pegged BJ's statements as odd early on, the statements of how she wouldn't have "left" without telling her/his son. What a mess.
I'm trying to shove that out of my mind :tears:
Okay so let's try to come up with an innocent explanation for him to leave the state while his wife is missing. No snark intended, BTW.

I would say that he was going to meet the "kidnappers", BUT, the ransom note said to meet at a local restaurant. So there goes that innocent explanation. I tried.
The ransom note actually didn't give any directions - at all - on how to pay the $60K ransom. (How's that for an incompetent kidnapper OR someone who is just faking a ransom note who duh forgot to include how to pay). He states that an email he received told him to go to the restaurant, although he didn't share the email with LE. He states he received the email on his phone and apparently they don't have a search warrant for that (reading between the lines on the lack of search warrant).
Does that mean the 14 year old was BJ's and the one there with bj, when she left?
Yes. I meant the email.

:tears:Officially the search for Kelley Jo Snyder continues with the hope the 34-year-old mother of three missing since Sunday in this Clinton County borough is alive.
However, the focus of the search Saturday would indicate authorities fear she might be dead because it was concentrated on the Susquehanna River with underwater cameras and cadaver dogs available if needed.
Do we know what time BJ reported Kelley missing? How much "later" after she left for DG?
