PA PA - King Hill, 2, stepfather said King was with babysitter, Philadelphia, 7 Jul 2020 *GUILTY #2

On July 6th, she struggled to carry the suitcase out of the apartment. On July 7th, she lifts it with one hand out of the trunk ...
I remember googling the garbage pickup schedule for that area and it was on a Monday or Tuesday. At that time I think it was running a day behind. If she left it there on the 7th, it may have been picked up the next day. I don't know when LE recieved the tip but it's a shame they didn't make it on time.

So baby told Marv to come and get him and it took him a whole week to even check in that week he apparently lay dying and suffering I'm so upset This is worse than I could have imagined

Horrifying, this is reminding me of what happened to Jhessye Shockley. Right down to the head injury, not seeking medical treatment for an injured child, and the suitcase. I hope she gets LWOP, just like Jerice Hunter did.

Ms Betsy, spot on. Figure in 4th of July and many of our trash collectors coming down with Covid? Whatever the city says about trash collection is a big guess.

Example mine was today and it's still sitting out there.

Poor baby no fortune or luck even in death.

What gets me the most is he should not have been with this woman in the first place. Amber s mother stated they felt like they didn't "need" to check on him because they trusted someone who is not even related and doesn't even care for his own daughter...then he passes him on to someone else because he felt she would take better care of him then his mother He had no right to do so.So many people failed him and there was such a window of opportunity to save him had they only checked

Just checking in to say I agree that I almost wish I didn’t read the article. If you haven’t read it, you really might skip it. It is so awful.

It is exactly what I expected but so much worse, not in violence but lack of care. If she had just sought medical care, he would likely be alive today. If she had dropped him off at the ER and fled, he would likely be alive. If his mother or adopted stepfather forced face time or called police within days, he could be alive. The mother is totally absent. Not even worth a mention. The saddest part of all is that poor boy’s last words to the most responsible man in his life. And his plea ignored.

Apparently the stepfather did try text or call for several days to pick King up. He asked Tianna for pictures and she didn't send any. She told him they were in Atlantic City and Ocean City when they were really in Philadelphia. She would not have wanted him to see King in his condition.

He had allegedly told her that Amber wanted King to come home for a visit and she went out of her way to avoid him. When LE questioned them they all had different stories, but it was Tianna who told them lie after lie. Everything she said was refuted by the evidence they found.

Imo

How far away did the stepfather live from Tianna?

I think like a 15 min drive if I recall He said he went to her apartment and waited there .God knock down the door , he should have at least called police right then and there or at least tell the mother what was really going on IMO in that week leading up to him calling the police,he knew,he must have known something was terribly wrong but chose to ignore it

...as for TP I think she wanted to raise a perfect child I think the June 13th live on her mom's Facebook for whoever got to see it when it was public had so much information First of her mother is either heavily on drugs or has mental issues,I just feel like TP most likely grew up with or inherited these issues I feel like she wanted to be better, more educated ,the perfect queen than the disfunction she most likely grew up with All those rumors she tried to raise someone else's kid before makes me think she couldn't have children of her own and King was supposed to be a champion He was potty training and for all of us who follow these cases so many times that seems to be the reason mom's just loose it

I think she was resentful and angry that she had to return King back to his mother. She apparently thought of him as her own child.

She may have already had anger issues and if she abused drugs that would certainly affect her mood.

For whatever reason, I think she lost it and took out her anger on King. She could have called for help or medical assistance when she had the chance, but instead she chose to let him die and then cover up her actions, throwing him away like trash.

IMO

Did you even read the article? He had her watch him bc initially he thought he had covid, thus wanting to protect him.

I will agree that he shouldn't have let the little boy stay. I hope he hears his boy asking him to pick him up for the rest of his days. Everyone had failed this child.

When did the stepfather think he had Covid and take King over to Tianna?
I’m guessing he got sick and wasn’t sure until he got better shortly thereafter or perhaps got tested?

Was the place where he met her (gym, boxing, training place) closed during this time due to Covid?

I was thinking about that live yesterday, it was disturbing to watch. Not because anything abusive was happening to King, but something was clearly wrong with TP. I initially thought she was on something, but now suspect a mental health issue, maybe both. Agree, her own mother has multiple issues I won't get in to.

That's true. The stepfather apparently made some attempts and was actively deceived by TP so my comment King's plea was "ignored" was perhaps overstating it. But my God!!! The fact that there was time to save him just makes it that much worse. So so so sad.

Here's what I have in my notes:

King Hill was last seen at 9:50 a.m. on July 7 at 31st and Page streets in Strawberry Mansion. The toddler's grandmother, Kimberly Hill, tells Action News that King's stepfather had the boy since the end of May. The stepfather was to drop King off at the mom's house in two weeks for the toddler's 3rd birthday (7/29/20). Instead, the mom received a text from the stepfather that set off the search for her son. The stepfather said a babysitter had dropped off King. "She gets a text saying, 'Did you get the baby? She dropped him off at 33rd and Diamond.' That's the first time we heard of this babysitter. I don't know who this woman is," Kimberly Hill said. "Somebody's not telling us the truth because the babysitter is saying she returned the child to the mother, Amber Hill. The mother's saying that she did not," said Captain Mark Burgmann. The babysitter has been providing child are for the past 2 years. Stepfather is father to Amber Hill's older daughter (7 years old). On Sunday, 7/19/20 LE confirmed to the mother that King was killed. Police are not yet releasing any details on the developments, but King’s mother says detectives confirmed Sunday that her son was killed and that they believe they know who is responsible. The investigation yielded cell phone & video evidence that led to the conclusion that King is dead.

He nevet mentioned Covid before In none of the interviews, social media etc I think he just came up with that as an excuse

Ok, King went to stay with the stepfather at the end of May. Sometime in June(?) the stepfather became sick, thought he had Covid so he sent King to the babysitter.
Did he send his daughter to someone at the same time to avoid Covid?
I just can’t imagine what little King went thru the last time he was there. :(

His own daughter was not with him He only picked up King In previous interviews he said he let TP watch him for longer periods of time because he trusted her No mention of Covid, ever
