Why oh Why ???
I just dont understand this monster
I dont get it and I am so sad that she had to go through this.

Going by removal of bra and stockings I don’t think there’s much likelihood that it wasn’t sexually motivated. He was hanging around looking for an Amish girl so fair to assume that was part of the thrill for him too. Utterly monstrous.

Men like him are so very dangerous. I hope he’s never released.

A tribute to Linda from the find Linda fb page.

She was an absolute gem of a young woman. Nobody will ever take that from her.

May the Stoltzfoos Family and Friends be comforted by their memories of Linda.

JMVHO.

If Justin smoker actually killed Linda Stolfuss, as it seems from the news, in the manner it seems from the news, can there be any reason at all to spare him from prompt execution?

released? Executed!

Ah. Well, I have reservations about such practices but this isn’t the time or the place for that discussion :)

The Amish community are firmly against execution I think. I actually think they'd prefer to forgive Justo than see him executed.

There is currently a moratorium on the death penalty in PA, although one can still be sentenced to death. There is nothing prompt about it, though. The last person to receive the death penalty was Eric Frein in 2017. He has been given an execution date but it has yet to be carried out. Imo

<Modsnip>, but everyone deserves the same treatment in the criminal justice system and their day in court to prove their innocence. That's a constitutionally guaranteed right that cannot be compromised for even the most vile criminals. In this case, there is virtually no chance that he will get off, but he deserves his day in court regardless. If he's found guilty at the end of the process, then I have no sympathy for whatever happens to him after that.

Personally, I don’t feel that the wishes of a murdered person’s family should be taken too much into consideration.

What if they feel that life without possibility of parole is too onerous a sentence?

Or, on the other hand, what if they feel that execution in the same manner as their loved one was killed is appropriate?

Yes, the 6th and 14th Amendments.

I just realized she has 9 siblings! Hopefully they all support each other and their parents through this painful grieving process.

I feel so awful for her poor family, I can’t even imagine what they are going through.

I kinda disagree, *if* he is the one who committed this crime (and I say that loosely, considering the info available) he doesn't deserve anything imo. Linda was an innocent young woman, and what was done to her and her family and friends is unforgivable. I clearly am not a strong person, I admire people of Linda's faith if they choose to forgive him, I know that I couldnt. Linda's life was hers, and hers alone, this *person* had no right to lure her into his car, no right to do what he did to her, no right to take her life in such a brutal and terrifying way. He has no right to anything anymore imo. (Having said that, I'm undecided on death penalty cos I don't see it as punishment maybe? I think having freedom taken away and living with that knowledge may be more of a punishment? )

:) sorry if the post appears abrasive/rude in any way. It certainly isn't meant to be. Written word over oral can be very hard to express what you're feeling/thinking without sounding rude/argumentative etc.
