Here's another report, and it initially sounds from this one like she's safe now, and LE is only looking for her husband, but the dates/days of the week don't seem to match up with what the first article I posted is saying. Hoping this is just a glitch in reporting, and that she truly is safe, but any more, it's hard to trust the accuracy of online reporting.

(I note that the articles come from the same MSM, but are written by different reporters. The link in my Post #1 is dated Oct. 3, and the one below is dated Oct. 2.)

Ugh. Why wasn’t he in jail if he had just kidnapped her 😭

As a result of the dedicated work of the Scottdale Borough Police department along with the excellent support of the Westmoreland County District Attorney’s Office, The Maysville Police department in Kentucky and the Kentucky State Police, we were able to track down and locate Lydia Prince and take Shawn Prince into custody.

On the evening of October 3rd into the early morning hours of October 4th, Officers were alerted to the vehicle being seen by a roadside camera in Morehead Kentucky, the officers immediately began calling as many agencies as possible in the area to obtain direction of travel, possible destinations and getting Kentucky and Tennessee police officers to possible locations that the pair may be heading. They were also contacting every hotel in and around the area in an attempt to discover their whereabouts.

While some officers were manning the phones, others were quickly conducting interviews and interrogations with family and possible suspects to get any information on where Mr and Mrs Prince could be heading.

Because of the high intensity investigation that the Scottdale officers were conducting, they were able to discover the vehicle that the couple was last seen in located in a parking lot of a hotel in Maysville Kentucky. Our officers then notified the Maysville police along with Kentucky state police, providing them with all the necessary information. Officers of Kentucky state police along with officers of the Maysville police, over the phone with officers from Scottdale police communicated enough information to obtain a search warrant for the hotel.

Mr Shawn Michael Prince was taken into custody in Kentucky and now awaits extradition to Westmoreland County to answer for his charges.

Lydia Prince was located and is now safe and able to return to her family.
