Found Safe PA - Meghan Lose, 16, Ferguson Township, 5 Sept 2017 *Arrest*

Ferguson Township police have launched a search for 16-year-old Meghan Lose, according to State College Area School District.

Lose is a student at State High.

Anyone with information about Lose’s whereabouts should contact Officer Brian Rose at 237-1172 or the police department at 800-479-0050.

Police say Lose is white, 5 feet 2 inchesand weighs about 160 pounds. She has blonde hair and blue eyes.

According to a press release, Lose was reported missing by her family when she failed to return home from school on Tuesday, and she may be with Alexander Bucknavage, 18

Alexander F. Bucknavage, 18, of State College, faces charges in connection with her disappearance.


Bucknavage was arraigned Wednesday night before District Judge Steven Lachman, according to court documents, and charged with a felony count of concealing the whereabouts of a child and a misdemeanor charge of corruption of minors.

Straight monetary bail was set at $5,000 and he was taken to the Centre County Correctional Facility.

A preliminary hearing is slated for Sept. 13.
