Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a missing Summit Township man.

Michael Maisner, 66, was last seen by family members March 27. He was reported missing Thursday morning.

He is described as 6' 2" tall and 220 pounds with a heavy build. He has short, gray hair, facial hair and green eyes, troopers said.

Maisner also reportedly drives a silver 2014 Cadillac XTS, according to state police.

Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Conroe with State Police in Erie at 814-898-1641.

Pennsylvania State Police troopers were called to a Summit Township residence last week to check on the welfare of a 66-year-old man who hadn't been seen or heard from by family for more than two weeks.

The discovery of strange writings on the walls of the residence, and of suspected human bone in a burn pit on the property, has launched a death investigation.

Authorities on Monday had not yet identified the suspected remains found in the burn pit on property at 7017 Crestview Drive, where the missing man lived. The whereabouts of the missing man, 66-year-old Michael Maisner, also remained unknown Monday, according to state police.

Holy Moly! The article above sounds awful, and so does the one below. I'm getting a terrible foreboding about Mr Michael:

"His vehicle was recovered in Chautauqua County, New York, according to state police.

Marisa Rodriguez, 35, was arrested for the stolen vehicle and extradited back to Erie to face charges. She is being held without bond in the Erie County Prison, records show.

Family members told investigators Rodriguez is the same person they found in the attic when family, who is located out of town, came to check on Maisner. Graffiti was also found in the house, state police said.

Troopers questioned Rodriguez, who they said did partially live at Maisner's home in the 7000 block of Crestview Dr. She had personal property in the home, and Maisner's family knew of her, according to investigators."
