I live in the area. The undertow in the Delaware River is no joke. It's suicide to kayak, raft, canoe without a life jacket, especially with how high the river was this past week. People just don't respect the river enough, they think they can rent a canoe or whatever and it's all fun and games. They will be lucky to find this giy any time soon.
