There is nothing in the press so again speculation, and my friend, and her neighbors saying this poor soul was male.

Again just putting it out there on Tacony knowledge. If true maybe my theory at a point correct? Lots of prostitution. Possibly someone in transition? Or working as a male. I've seen young guys out there.

Orrrrrr somebody owed drug money or tried to take over someone's corner? People are brutal!

(Sigh) we have a 14 year old Jomar Lewis missing from our district since November 10th.

Last seen on D Street. Not in our district. Doesn't give what hundred, but could absolutely be K&A.

Praying it's not this kid. Several young males missing from the 25th. Seem to be built bigger than Jomar.

I am sorry but I drove this route to work everyday. Meaning 2 days I drove past this bag on the street. This has gotten ZERO media coverage in phila. I was told that the body was mutilated and head chopped off in a laundry bag. You could drive off the ramp at cottman ave 95 south drive up state road park your tractor trailer and walk this body up to 6900 Edmund and Disston street and then be back to your truck and barely break a sweat walking back to truck and be on 95 south Again. This is 1 block from prostitution land. How this did not get any media attention is astounding to me ?? They did 1 story on it and that was it .... something stinks about the police and media silence. All I am saying is it’s odd. Very odd. Also I delivered the mail on these blocks 8 years so please don’t tell me I don’t know the area. I know it all too well. I could tell you names on the blocks there of people who live where this body was discarded . With no coverage at all. No update in 1 week. It’s completely bizarre.

I think this level of violence plus being left in a neighborhood (not somewhere rural) indicates whomever committed this murder lives in the area and was under the influence of something hardcore.

My heart goes out to this victim's family. It will traumatize them too.

You're right. Then you know my friend. Also my sibling is a mail carrier just not in Tacony.

Glad you got off that route! It's so sad the vision Disston had, and how it is now. My friend awoke last year about 2am to addicts pushing on a dolley a Flippin Church organ. Just Wheeling it down Edmund. Not from St. Leo's praise God.

I don't think anyone would assume youu don't know the area. Especially being a mail carrier. You possibly grew up there and absolutely understand the ire.

I did mention further up the thread how close this is to 95. Very sad such a beautiful library, and Opera House and so cute when Miss ***** had her dance school on the first floor.

As of October a 15 year old Ylani Roman was missing. Last seen 7100 block of Tulip. That's again in that neighborhood.

Hopefully she has been found and the PPD didn't update yet.

I don't disbelieve this at all, unfortunately. Philly has always had its problems, but this year is taking the cake.

A U-Haul truck was stopped by police in Somerton after a report of a robbery. The passenger got out and told police "I don't want anything to do with this".

It seems they do know who the victim is. A man. His body parts were found after combing the area even in a Wawa dumpster.

Did a quick search on Ylani Roman. Nothing from PPD indicating she’s been found.

Crazy that there’s nothing in the news about this poor person .
