Hello. I joined today specifically because of the Nalani case. Just praying so hard for this little girl to be found safely. I've been following this thread as a guest, but I also wanted to be able to comment/ask questions.

It's obvious LE is withholding a lot of information from the public, surely to not compromise their investigation and ultimately to find Nalani and return her safely to her family. A couple of things that have stuck out to me and I haven't seen mention in this thread.

LE is asking for the public's help in locating the car seat. This suggests to me that they may have video of the car seat in Nancy's car but without Nalani. OR, they possibly have video of a hand off without a car seat??? She drove as far east as Blairsville and returned, yet the search at this time does not appear to be focused on the Blairsville area,. I would think she drove as far away as possible to discard of the car seat and returned home. If you look at the map kindly provided earlier by another poster, Blairsville (although I know we don't have a precise location) just happens to be right where Route 22 passes over the Conemaugh River. Another reason I suspect LE has some video evidence to support where they are focusing the search efforts.

Also, sometimes even in deceit a little truth is offered. She claims she was instructed to drive for 20 minutes and meet someone at a gas station along 22. This is precisely how long it would have taken to get to the Murrysville Sheetz. So, if she really did hand the child off and was afraid someone had seen her/video captured her, then of course she thinks she has an out by placing blame on someone else trying to save her own butt. I obviously don't believe her story at all, but I do think this is likely where Nalani could have been exchanged.

One other thing, if LE believes that Nalani was dropped off/hidden somewhere along that route by herself, I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't be making an appeal to the public to assist them in an all out organized search as time would certainly not be on her side out there on her own.

Finally, I haven't seen anybody mention that her husband has said she travels between Pittsburgh and India frequently, spending months there at a time, having recently only returned on the 18th. I find it hard to believe, although not completely out of the realm of possibility, that she could afford to pay rent in Pittsburgh, support her family, and go without income for so long. Just found that odd.

Hopefully we will find out more at 1:00.

I know your not arguing with me, you bring up lots of good points too for one to think about. We know he was calling her before he called the police so only time will tell if the police can find out if those phone calls were actually answered or not.

Yeah but the girl's father hasn't been arrested. The police have made no mention whatsoever of her father doing anything wrong. He is a victim, so really there's no need to throw shade his way.

I'm not saying that Nalani was sold but I thought this article was interesting as it addresses the demand for US kids in Canada and Western Europe.
This article is about legal adoptions of US infants not illegal selling, but interesting nonetheless.

https://psmag.com/news/outgoing-adoption-americas-unseen-export-children-black-84084
"When it comes to the adoption of black infants, the European market is all demand and America all supply. Social acceptance of single parenthood, the accessibility of contraception, and the legalization of abortion have drastically reduced the number of children available for adoption domestically in much of Western Europe, and U.S. agencies have emerged to meet the demand."
I’ve been thinking about that. We always tend to go to sex trafficking these days when talking about babies/children being sold. But there are other reasons for children to be sold.
When I first heard about this I immediately thought she stole a baby because she wants a baby or she stole a baby for someone else who wants a baby. Could be a ring, well organized or not. But that’s where my thoughts went.

Does anyone recall what time the initial Amber Alert went out? The articles I've checked have been updated so I can't get an estimate on the original time.

I am in Chester County, PA and received the alert at 8:10 PM Saturday. I think I am about 4-5 hours southeast of the Allegheny area.

My friend was at a concert in the Poconos PA and she said her phone and all the people around her phones went off. She texted me the next day to ask if it made it to the site I follow, meaning WS.

Presser with FBI just now on WTAE. Asking for any and all surveillance videos from businesses in specified areas. I missed a lot due to lunch at work. I’ll post if it comes up.

Can you go ahead and provide me all the links for 1 year olds being sold into sex trafficking? Thanks in advance.
A miss understanding. All this due to Nancy's statement to LE with being sold for 10,000. If this is true and we still have no evidence. What would you call that. What would be the correct term for selling a human. No matter the age? No matter what the reason is.
I hope this is not what happened. The most important thing.
To find this child and bring her to safety. I value your posts as always.
Where is this precious child. I think sex trafficking has 0 to do with this.

Nancy and the father of Nalani were friends through social media. They were together through the afternoon and an argument ensued. Nalani and his friend got out of the car with the intention of taking Nalani and Nancy took off.
