A million times this. It's all about that discord account and whomever he was last talking to....one doesn't give out theie password to a discord account without a very good reason to do so. IMHO ofc.

To clarify, Nick sent his other passwords to someone in a Discord message; he didn't send the Discord credentials to that person. However, if the passwords included an email account, the said person could reset the Discord password using that.

I'm not entirely sure what to make of choosing Discord. It's basically a new iteration of the chat room. One can use it for real-life stuff like gaming tournaments and meetups. I picked it up primarily because of Twitch; streamers use it to announce things, and you can share stream clips and all.

it's not something that i would have regarded as especially critical or important, except maybe for being less traceable or harder to get logs for than other communication means.

My guess is his friend is an online friend he games with and discord is their primary means of communication with each other.

Is there any history of depression?

There is likely a lot of insight to be gained from the accounts the passwords are for.

Nick was a No Call No Show at place of employment, Michael's Craft Store, Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA on 09/30/2021 & 10/01/2021.

Nick had sent his last message to a close friend through Discord with his passwords to his computer and other sites which is out of character.

Nick is a gamer, and enjoys D&D. He is known to play online gaming sites. He also tends to be quiet and reserved.

I noticed it was quiet too. So much so that I checked the database hoping not to find him listed anymore.
