Yeah they stopped these fools up here.

Noticing in my neighborhood the last few months a UHAUL is the new rent a car. Your mode of transportation and ya can clean a home or two out.

Poor Mr. Gerold.

Thanks...learned something new, UHAUL. It's very sad for the guy, but also for all the animals he kept.....

What a weird and scary people are walking around on this earth....."I don't want to have anything to do with it....there are body parts in the back"......say what!!

Somehow the Philly cases always intrigue me. Makes me wonder "what is in the air" in your good old neighborhood.

What can you steal from a home, that is worth doing that for? A TV, a phone, a few dollars in a wallet?

They clean you OUT !

If you mean this poor victim Mr. Gerold no doubt somebody cased him prior. He probably had more than we know about financially.

A month or so ago amid Covid outside dining a woman had her purse on the table and a "My rent a car is a Uhaul" passenger stuck his hand out and grabbed it up. A motorcycle person intervened. Big mess.

Mind you I have immediate neighbors with rent a everyday Uhaul. Origins "Olde Kensington ". No such thing exists. Blame gentrification and NYC developers. Anyway my neighbor said they transported the six kids in back. I did not witness this. He's a cop. If I saw that I'd call DHS.

You're more than welcome to come visit @Bit of hope . Mom and I could keep ya safe. Then I'd take ya on the El to see The Liberty Bell, and Congress Hall and Betsey Ross's House. Edgar Allen Poe's house. The Magic Garden on South Street. Beautiful City. Cradle Of Liberty.

Meanwhile ya'd get to witness the chaos. The sadness. The bizarre. I'd have ya. No problem. I've lived these streets!

That would be great! Thanks :) Unfortunately I don't have the money to visit. I had to pay for an operation of a very nasty broken leg of my tom cat....not kidding.....and still being Covid-19 wise.

Oh my gosh I am so sorry! Poor kitty.

However you are wise as always to be cautious about the virus.

Just in our heads though could you see us explaining your visit at philadelphia International?

We're Sleuther's Yo! This woman is no refugee. Ask Tom Petty! Wait he is deceased. Then go to.......unfortunately we enjoy a ummmm fight! Heck possibly through friends I'd have Tom Cat's leg paid for.

All kind of in jest! Peace. Om Shanti. Filly

O/T but NOT my sibling got dropped off today. Took bus and El home. I showed him a woman on the site Kensington Beach giving birth on the sidewalk.

His response was from "Gone With The Wind". He don't know nothing about birthing babies.

Sad. Raw. True. You stay safe and care for kitty.

OT LOL, love this! Imagining having "angel dreams". Or should I say "angel dust dreams"? Nahhhhhh. Nope. I would prefer going on the EL and see "Open your eyes, I see the sunrise" Just wonderful street art! Let me guess about the appropriate "gone with the wind" quote.............

Sorry, enough now!

Taray Herring guilty of 1st degree murder
Peter Gerold, a “healer” who would “do anything for anyone,” hired Herring, 50, a few years ago to do odd jobs at his house on Sanibel Street. But, instead of working, Herring devised a plan to kill and rob Gerold of all his possessions, including his exotic birds and reptiles.

During the trial, police, detectives and crime scene officers testified to the gruesome details surrounding Gerold’s death.

In February 2021, Herring’s ex-girlfriend Jeanette Pace told jurors he called her and told her there were birds and reptiles he wanted to sell on the dark web, saying he would give her a portion of the money.

Pace, who was addicted to heroin at the time, told jurors she needed to pay bills and was down on her luck, so she made her way from South Jersey to Philadelphia to help Herring.
