Was going to include this link in the original post, but it's so bare bones that i'm not sure if it's from the same case.

DBF according to this link is April 9th.
"Authorities say they found a man's body unresponsive with no signs of trauma at Cobbs Creek golf course on the 7400 block of Lansdowne Avenue just after 5 p.m. Sunday. "

Eek. Looks like he has some bruising on his face. Was an autopsy done? He must have been dumped there. Why else would he have bruises on his face? It may just be decomp but that looks more like bruises to me. Was he a potential domestic violence victim? I know sadly male domestic violence victims are ignored. He’s a pretty big guy, so maybe it’s not that. Maybe he got into a fight? Someone probably mistook him for a gang member or something? Weird.

Edit: No trauma, weird. Was it drowning? He looks like he probably got dumped though. His PM photo is a bit graphic.

I believe what you're seeing as bruises is slippage of the epidermis.

The only thing is that I don't see mention of a tattoo.

Annd, I just realized the dates don't match. I need coffee. Nevermind.

It says he was last seen 5/12/23? This John Doe was found before that.

Sometimes dates are mixed up but it’s unlikely, so I would rule him out.

Also, another body of a man, nude, was found in Cobbs Creek in Sept '22, maybe connected?
This man was found with a 'packet of drugs', whatever that means (he's nude, where is he keeping it? I don't want to know...)
I know certain areas of Philly (namely Kensington) struggle with drugs and homelessness; does anyone know if this area extends to the Cobb Creek area (neighborhoods of Yeadon, Kingsessing, Elmwood)? The creek is surrounded by some dense parkland, and I can see the homeless camping out in the area.
