Love to see the DNA Doe Project pick this case up but it mostly likely isn't gonna happen. Especially if the boys parents were the ones responsible for his demise.
Barbara Rae Venter, the person who identified the Golden State Killer thru genetic genealogy, is on this case and has been for over a year. It must be quite difficult to find his relatives.

They should make an exception for one of the oldest unidentified cases !!

I've seen BRV's name mentioned occasionally but don't know much about her. Does she generally issue updates on cases?

If this child was living in a home even as a girl, someone had to notice. I know things happen behind closed doors that neighbors might never be able to imagine. Or at least not fully understand but something that might make neighbors keep their kids away from M’s family. Or a family like hers. The boy in the box came from somewhere.

I seen this, too. It's beyond frustrating and beyond comprehension that something so appallingly sad and cruel can happen and go unpunished for this long. My gut is on M's story being legit. Which at the same time angers me because that vile woman that raised her will never see her justice.

Why do you think he looks inbred? I don't personally see anything about him that would lead to him being born out of incest of some sort.

The giant head, the eyes, the location he was found in,some other health problems he probably had like eye problems and maybe some bone problems

Inbred is not just a look.it can also be about having physical and mental abnormalities.Josef Fritzl's children often died early on

Maybe some family members were trying to cover up the shame of not only having a possibly disabled child but a child born out of incest

I think his features are odd because he was malnourished. I wonder if the idea was to keep him younger looking and maybe appearing female. If it was a pedo ring and they wanted kids that young I don’t think they care as much about genitalia. His eye brows looked plucked.
In the 50’s you could have sent the mother and child to a wayward girls home. There weren’t DNA tests and lets not pretend women had some power to say it was incest or rape even. It would be their word against a man’s.

Maybe M moving on from the awful people that raised her is more important than anything. We know her story and it was doubted at first. M shouldn’t be living in the past it’s up to other people to find independent clues she has given enough of herself.

I don't think he had a giant head.. I think he was so malnorished and beaten he was swollen and deformed. I think this was a poor little boy that someone used for their own satisfaction. IT breaks my heart. I have driven by this place hundreds of times. I picture it as it was then and I cant believe anyone found him so soon. I am so excited that Barbara is on this case. I was reading something on her process and she explained it is a lengthy and detailed process that she undertakes. I am praying that this little boy has a name one day.

I don't think I've ever commented on this case before, but I think it's possible that this child could have been slightly developmentally disabled. Due to his young age, I'm not sure how easy it would be to tell at that point, but instead of giving him the extra attention and care he needed, his caretakers could have been angry that they did not have a "normal" child and took out their frustrations on him.

The worst thing about this case is that even if the boy is identified, the chances that his killers are still alive is very slim. His killers would have to be 80+ years old if they are still alive.

This is the unjust truth behind many cold cases. It makes me sick that people can commit the vilest crimes against innocents, then skate for decades. I can only hope that a guilty conscience plagued them for all that time, but I know that in the case of sociopathic criminals that hope is futile.

He looks like he might have had autism.considering the mental health industry is still underfunded today I can likely imagine things might have been much more worse back then

So most likely they were simply uniformed on how to take care of a child with such a condition

I wonder if his DNA has been compared to other UIDs.I vaguely remember reading a Doenetwork page that has a black female and a black male who were(I'm not sure if they still are) unidentified
