Identified! PA - Philadelphia, 'Boy in the Box', WhtMale 4-6, 4UMPA, Feb'57

I have not posted in some time, but I still feel I have good reason to keep searching. You can check to see my earlier posts under "Rutt". My house was rented out by my folks to some out-of-towners, who suddenly left about the time the Foxchase boy was found. I have located the renters, just a few months ago (I searched for nearly a dozen years). A relative of the renter fills me in on the adult-male renter, who was a violent and domineering person, a nasty drinker. His wife could have no children, so he had a surrogate, which appears to be his mistress. This is fact! They did have a child who is alive today, I am checking to see if his lady friend had another child with him. Evidently the male renter's family lived in the deep south and they weren't sure of the details. His relative that fills me in is not 100% sure why I ask about him. She knows I believe there may have been another, slightly older child my mother thought her relative may have had. She is not too sure he had another child, but admits he was mysterious and a very shaky character.

Has anyone gotten a hold of anyone to find out if there are any new leads on this little one or if anyone is actually investigating this case any more.I hope someone new can really investigate this little boys case again.This is very sad.The answers are out there.Please don't give up on this little one.He deserves so much better than this.

May I please ask when you saw this? Do you have a link to it? I don't know if they are doing a new investigation on his case or not.I hope and pray they are.That's what I am pushing for and asking if people will please do for this little one.He deserved his real name a long time ago and the truth.

Does anyone remember a family member or someone adopted out or told they were adopted out or died or removed from the home by child welfare DHS that might fit this boys description?I'm actually looking for children adopted out that were born ages between the years of about 1951 to 1953 that were adopted out or said they were between the ages of 3 and 7 or any records that fit this little boy in the box.I still feel our boy was just getting into a foster home or orphanage,childrens home or institution somewhere.I don't know if he had been in the system before somewhere or not.Can someone please check these records in these institutions again.We might just find out this precious little boys name.Please help find out his name.

or maybe he was from an immigrant family being deported back to their own county and he was left here or handed over to be adopted out.There are many ways to go with his case.But sadly no answers.

I think this little boy should be looked into again.Please let me know if you find out who he was.

The mother said the boy "looks like him" and the father said he wasn't "too sure." A team of detectives later found the boy in a private orphanage in West Philadelphia.

Early nineties there was a case called the baby in the cooler. I dont think that cases was solved either. It was on Americas most wanted. Two people were seen carrying the cooler but they were never identified. This was in NYC. AMW should dedicate a show to unidentified children.

You might be talking about Baby Hope.She was about 4 or 5 years old.I keep her story out there right along with this little boy in the box.It's very sad we do not know who these little ones are.

Is there a rule out list for this child? I couldn't find one. I also looked in NAMUS to see if this information is listed there, but I couldn't find this child listed in NAMUS. I have a thought but wanted to reserve posting until I see who has been compared and ruled out thus far. Thanks for any help anyone can provide...

I do know Steven Damman and Frederick Holmes have been ruled out I believe with DNA.I'm not sure who else has been ruled out.I tried awhile ago to get them to put this little one on Namus.But so far I have not seen him on there.
