Can they and will they do this isotope testing for this little one with his teeth to find out where he was and brought up and where he came from? There is NO reason they can't do this for our boy.None at all. It's the least they can do for him.

http://www.wate.com/story/20864901/...es-smithsonian-lab-will-help-solve-cold-cases

Dobbs is trying to close the two cold cases, so she contacted the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C. for help. The Smithsonian is one of three labs in the U.S. to use new isotopes testing.

"They are taking the teeth of these unidentified individuals and they are breaking down the hydrogen and oxygen," Dobbs said.

She says the enamel on your teeth forms until the age of ten. By studying the hydrogen and oxygen in the enamel, experts can pinpoint the region where a person grew up.

"That is based off the plants that we eat, the water that we drink, rainwater, and the dust that you breathe," she said.

Experts can narrow where a person grew up to just a couple states.

Hopefully they did the Isotope test when they exhumed his body, if they did not do it I doubt they would exhume him again just for that test. Officer Cummings has not returned my call yet, I was going to call last Friday but did not get the chance, I will make a note for myself to try tomorrow.

I'm assuming if they kept his tooth or teeth when they exhumed him.Which I hope they did. They can do isotope testing like in that article from the enamel on that tooth or teeth. Right?

We can only hope, I just wish people would return calls. I find it strange when LE asks for the public's help, but when someone with no importance, like myself, seems interested in helping, they don't return calls or give out any information that would further help the public in helping them.

I hope they call you back.I tried to get him on there( Namus)awhile back.I contacted Namus and they said the police or medical examiner would have to put him on there.I think I remember them saying it would have to be the medical examiner who would have to put him on.I'll try and find that email.

That would be great if you could find that e-mail, so if and when they call me back I'll will have a little more knowledge of how the process works.

I just wrote to Namus at the time. They said they contacted someone.Apparently nothing happened with it.I never heard back from them or ever saw him on Namus.

The last email was on 9-20-2011

I took my email address out here.

Hi Suzanne,

Your request was forwarded to the medicolegal officer in the jurisdiction the boy was found. We have not had a response yet.

Thank you,

Hi Suzanne,

Case entry on the unidentified persons system is limited to Medical Examiner and Coroners. This case will have to be entered by the medicolegal officer in the jurisdiction the boy was found. I will forward your request to the person that handles entering cases in the Philadelphia area.

Thank you,
NamUs Team

I thought Namus could get his DNA in CODIS.Someone really needs to please push them to do all this.Maybe a few people.I do feel DNA and or records somewhere will solve this little ones case and give him his real name.

I do respect and have the utmost respect for Bill Kelly.I just don't agree with him.If I may please say That lady M in the article, that lead did not pan out.I do not believe the lady in Ohio at all.I extremely feel his name is not Jonathan and he was never there with her.In my personal honest opinion.I refuse to and I will not call him Jonathan. It is not his his real name. They do not know who he is.

I have to look for it but at that time I believe that the biggest papers in the philadelphia region were the Bulletin and the Philadelphia Inquirer.

ETA: The bulletin went out of business a long time ago.. Maybe the 80's. I don't know if you could find that. The Inquirer is still in print.

I called the Philidelphia Inquirer and spoke with someone about putting an article in for the anniversary. I mentioned the fact that if his name is in the media it could possibly help to get him on the NamUs site. I also mentioned I was interested to know if he had the Isotope test done. I asked him to call me back if they are printing a story or not, that way I know, he said he would call me. 215-854-2000. It gives you an automated account of their departments, I chose "news" when I didn't hear what I was looking for I remained on the line and a recording told me it would direct me to an operator.

I hope they find answers to this case one day. This poor child. I didn't realize he had such extensive bruising especially on his head from fingers!! How awful!

With everything I read about the boy I don't know how I missed these autopsy photo's, they are graphic....and disturbing.

That poor, poor child. I am heartbroken seeing these for the first time. The finger pressure bruises on the forehead are clear as day in these photos as are the extensive bruising on the legs. Heartbreaking.
