Update: Andrew Nedby has been identified as the John Doe in the thread. I received confirmation from his sister and she has asked that I update everyone. His namus and that of the john doe will likely be removed shortly.

I am unsure, although I am guessing they will make some sort of announcement. The Detective who was working the case is in training this week and next, which is why yesterday we did a Zoom call for the information. However, I will send her an email and ask her about an official announcement.
