If they know where he is and even what room he's in, is use of tear gas or a smoke bomb an option? Otherwise, who knows how much ammo he has and how long they will have to stay barricaded and in danger.

I think a member of the SWAT team is trying to find a way to take him out sniper style.

I don't like the idea heavily-armed police. But, with a holed up shooter with an arsenal of assault rifles, the police appear to be outgunned. Is there anything that they can do?

Right now they are negotiating, which is the best thing to be happening. Holding my breath the negotiations will work.

Sounds more like a non-thinking citizen of the community, who just (most likely) lost his drone to a take-down.

Those shooting at our police officers trying to kill them bothers me greatly.
