It was long suspected. The Hemingway family was known for the inter-generational suicides of its members, with Ernest being the most noted.
Now, not everyone with this DNA marker commits suicide, nor does everyone that commits suicide have this genetic marker. There is, however, a genetic predisposition for suicide.
