well she is wearing a haircut that no one has seen on a woman since the eighties..so it is rather masculine by today's standards. Is a Mini Cooper a gay car? what is a Gay car?

I think it's more a boomer car because it's retro and has old school euro styling that old hippies die for...

mOO.

I know a number of women that cut their hair after reaching their mid-30's. I would call it age appropriate. In 2005, PEF was in her early 40's. She was not trying to look like she was a teenager.

Many times, I have seen the "Ray-is-gay-'cause-he-drove-a Mini" posted many times. I think it is silly, but some people feel that way: Is a Mini Cooper a gay car?

I would have considered a Mini a sports car, but people, including PEF, have referred to it as a "fun car."

Omigod. women need to stop having age appropriate haircuts because they immediately age by 47 years when they butcher their looks by succumbing to societal pressures and advice from the rest of the short haired hags in their families to get haircuts so as not to appear 'sexual".

this is 2019.

It's a clown car and I just don't get why anyone would want to be seen in one. Is it because they think they look " European" ? It's literally the most useless and un-coolest car on the road.

It is a matter of personal taste. He obviously liked the Mini Cooper. Personally, I would prefer it to an SUV.

I think the jacket and tie he is wearing in this photo are ugly, especially in combination. That is a personal opinion.

He obviously didn't, and I am not his fashion consultant. :)

I thought he did good with the jacket and tie.

I don't; I think it made him look like a shoe salesman. (My father's first job as as a shoe salesman, so this isn't intended a slight to shoe salesmen.) I thought his blue suit and red tie looked very good.

My particular point is that neither one of us is wearing that suit or driving that car. RFG wanted to drive that car and he wanted to wear that suit. When we talk about certain possibilities, we have to keep this in mind. We might not want to do something that RFG would, or vice versa.

Seriously??? OMG! Never heard of that one. Now, if RFG walked around with various colored bandanas in his back pockets...;) <kidding>

Really. If you back over some the threads, you can references to it, generally me complaining about it.

Disclosure: I am a Donna Summer fan.

I came across something that is quite coincidental.

One of the most famous disappearances in the US was that of former Teamster's president James Hoffa, in 1975. Hoffa had been convicted of several federal crimes in the early 1960's and was sentenced to federal prison: United States Penitentiary, Lewisburg.

I'm sure it is not related, but it does show that coincidences do happen.

Lewisburg.

hmpf.

I've only heard him making one joke. It was in an e-mail exchange with a defense attorney that said something jokingly and he responded with something like "Whatever makes defense attorneys rich."

Bob Buehner would call him up and ask for free football tickets, jokingly. The first few times he did that, RFG got a bit flustered and said, "No."

Who was Rays best guy friend at the time of his disappearance?

Steve Sloane. A businessman, Ed Walker, was also close. Both were at least a decade younger than RFG.

Have they both been checked out ? If he wasn't killed by an enemy, and probably not by a stranger, was he killed by a friend ? Have either of his friends moved since Ray disappeared? Have their properties been searched ? Their favorite camping / hunting sites ? Any of Rays good friends have an concrete patios poured soon after Rays disappearance ? Or any new buildings going up after his disappearance ? Did any of the smoke ?

Sloane was interviewed by the PSP. I do not know if Walker was. Sloane had been in an automobile accident and even had difficulty getting to Lewisburg to be interviewed.

There is an overall problem with RFG meeting a friend or co-worker from Centre County 50 miles away. Both Walker and Sloane live in the State College area. Add to that the trip appeared to be planned and that RFG didn't tell anyone, and it makes a meeting with someone that was a friend or co-worker from Centre County highly improbable.

If it was a meeting with someone from Centre County, I could see two possibilities:

1. A helper, in the case of a walk away.

2. Someone that shouldn't be seen with another man or with a DA. That would be:

A. Someone who had an SO, and didn't want to be seen with another man.

B. Someone who had a connection to a case, a defendant, witness, or the SO or relative of a defendant or witness.

I don't think he walked away. He took his car keys, he was planning on coming back to his car. I also don't think it was related to one of his cases. People would have talked by now, either in bragging or trying to get something out of it. I don't know Ray personally so I don't know if he would have met up with another man, possible serial killer ( who's good at hiding bodies)
of older gay gentlemen.

RFG, if he walked away, might not have wanted to leave his keys in his car. I think they had an extra set.

A case related murder is hugely unlikely.

As far as I know RFG was very heterosexual.
