THAT'S what I didn't want to say. In the South, men friends of mine who wsre impressed with some woman's chest size would say " Hmmm. Big hair". That saying was back in the 80's too, now that I think of it.. LOL.

Ok, Ok, ladies...lol...didn't mean to be so leading AND POSSIBLY giving away my age group (the 80's comment). Thanks for the chuckle !

Not necessarily. It could be a number of similar things, PSU, Centre County, possibly Rockview State Prison.

Now just 'what' murder scenario would you mean ? Or murder in general ? I'm trying to get a better read on what you mean here. You have a particular one in mind ?

That is pretty much what I'd call big hair. Dolly Parton, Farrah Fawcett in the 70's, early Trisha Yearwood, early Jennifer Beals, Maria Shriver, and the women of Dynasty. :)

"Big Hair" like Dolly Parton would stand out as much as the Mini. Is there enough room in the Mini to haul all that "Big Hair" around ?

BBM. Yeah, that's why I asked how old Mrs. Butterworth might be. "Big hair" might also be relative to her age and generation's styles. Ohh, this still cracks me up. Can you imagine asking someone-- " How old is Mrs. Butterworth"? :floorlaugh: They'd cart us off.

Get the cart ready...I was getting ready to ask just that !!!
And what is known about this Butterworth character ? She probably knows the folks who found the laptop and/or the hard drive in the river.

I found this part very interesting: Seems like Buehner has helped verify the story from a prior interview:

Montour County District Attorney Robert Buehner Jr., a friend of Gricar’s, confirmed Tuesday night that police interviews with witnesses revealed the DA had been seen inside the Street of Shops with a blonde, whom Gricar appeared to know.

Buehner, who was also interviewed this month about Gricar’s disappearance by Lester Holt of Dateline NBC, said he did not know who the blonde might be.

Yikes ~~~!

There is one where RFG is meeting someone, because they don't want to be seen with him in Centre County. It might involve some institution, like the county or PSU. It could involve something at the state prison as well.

I'd doubt that. Butterworth is from Milton, according to the article.

Ok, I follow you. You make reference to Rockview State Prison...is there something of interest of that, like someone just having been released ? Is this the connection to his Prison Board meeting on the morning of 4-14 ?

I'm not sure he's right about that detail. The report was a dark haired woman.

Absolutely none. That was the County Prison Board; it dealt with what was the county jail. I've seen the minutes; they were routine. I'm just looking at plausible reasons someone could use to lure RFG to Lewisburg.

This one says blonde. I suspect two different women, on two different days. One dark hair...then the blonde.

LMW = dark haired woman

LYB =young blonde "Big Hair" woman

Eh ?

Yes. A Mini is surprisingly big. The windows are actually more than 40" off the ground. I actually saw one in a parking area and measured it with my cane.

LMW was 4/15. LYB was also 4/15, according to the article, IIRC.

Well, if it two different woman, I think we can rule out the "Ray is gay" theories. :)

Yes, I had found that very interesting. I had read your account of that, and of your own trip to Lewisburg, prior to me coming to WS. Very good pics you had there, may I add. Good sleuthing !!! It's all your fault I am here ...LoL !

RofL ... yup, I think we're a few miles down Route 192 on the "Ray is Gay" stuff ! He's looking more stud-like for a 59
year old guy.

My apologies. [/sarcasm] :)

Everyone is doing a good job an finding stuff and making rational comments. Keep it up please; I'm learning stuff.

It was entirely possible to toss the laptop from a car on the bridge, including the Mini. I had thought the Mini might be smaller, but I was surprised by the amount of space in one.

Thanks JJ...it's been a good couple of days here, and upbeat as well. We all needed a boost of sorts. Glad to be sharing this with All of You.

Makes sense tossing the laptop out of the Mini, considering that the Police dogs had lost his scent. In other words, he did not necessarily WALK to the river to toss anything. Starting to make some sense. Thanks.

Someone should send this thread to Sarah Ganim at the Harrisburg Patriot-news. Great stuff over the Last few days!

Gee, Mini Cooper interiors are not THAT spacious!!! J/K.
No, seriously, I don't think Ray is gay. I do think he is a " metro" looking man though. Come to think of it, extremely intelligent men in professional positions of authority tend to look a lot like him as far as neatness, style of clothing, hair length..
My recently former husband is a genius and except for lack of hair and about 25 lbs more weight, he does things like Ray. He poses/ posed with small dogs, doesn't hunt or own a gun..
I never thought of ex hub in a " metro" way but I have always thought that extreme intelligence confers a sense of self- esteem and pride about one's appearance.
I think that's what I am picking up on about Ray's photos.
Switch the Mini for a large BMW, too.

But-- in my mind, the fact that he FINALLY picked himself a pretty lady, the young blonde, even with big hair, puts a great big " Hetero" stamp on him.

It was on the north side of the bridge, where there was no walkway. Somebody on foot would have run a risk of getting hit by a car if they were on foot. It could have been tossed from just about any vehicle, even by the driver.

What does not make sense is, why not toss the drive just before tossing the laptop? It was a lot easier.
