It's a good thing he was found before the children got to school there. It sounds like another person killed for drugs, it's strange that LE found drugs at the scene. You'd think if he was killed for the drugs someone would have taken them.

Shot 8 times while the 2 of them struggled for the gun. I don't believe it, once or twice maybe, 8 times sounds deliberate to me..

Police arrested Shauntel Studvant, 23, of McKeesport and charged him with criminal homicide and drug-related offenses.

According to court documents, Studvant voluntarily went to police and told them Jones tried to rob him Wednesday night. He told police he shot Jones eight times after the two struggled over a gun.

Man pleads guilty in Wilkinsburg murder - January 9, 2017

Shauntel Studvant, 24, pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree murder in connection with the December 2015 shooting of Regis Jones, 22. Jones's body was found Dec. 9, 2015, on a walkway between St. James Catholic Church and Sister Thea Bowman Catholic Academy.

Charges of firearms violations and tampering with evidence were withdrawn in return for the plea deal, according to District Attorney Stephen A. Zappala Jr.'s office. Studvant was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in prison.
