I just went to that site. I have to be honets... some of the comments about getting access denied are a bit reactionary. Not digging that kinda of Vibe. I hit'em with my charm. ...

I didnt feel the need to say much more. But what the case does not need is publicity that is selfserving. I beleive that if the intentions of that site were purely to support the victums, the families, and those supporting them, the tone would be different.

Richie was a peaceful teddy bear and surely he and his immediate family are privite people and less outspoken then me. smile Keep it real.

One wouldnt think it would take a rocket scientist to consider someone close to Danielle,with a history of violence towards her as someone worthy of a whole bunch of scrutiny.
Especially if he is practicly the only person on the planet to benefit from the situation as it stands.

What is odd to me is her friends! Why oh why would they be sooo quiet? Why are they keeping the envelop sealed? Any thoughts?

Not sure why several of them have been denied. But I have been engaged in disturbing discourse with them. I won't moving forward, but can anyone shed lite on why folks get denied access?

I'm very familiar with zerogossip, and they are a very wonderful group of folks. I think if you look over the site, you can see some of the wonderful work they have done on some missing persons' cases. Holliston does some great stuff and has recently profiled Pamela Biggers, Jaliek Rainwater, Billy Smolinkski, the Baby Grace Case (very personal to me), and Brandi Laurent, among many others. He does in-depth interviews with those involved in the cases and posts them in his blogs. I have always found them fascinating and honest. Unless he can speak to someone linked to the case with "real information", he doesn't print "gossip", that's why the name of "zerogossip". Holliston is a popular blogger, and read by readers around the world.

I don't know why he was denied here. I know he was wanting to check in and get info on the case to see what he could do to help, as he had been asked to do. Seems things got off on the wrong foot on both sides. His latest blog comment says he is moving on, he hopes the family finds the answers they have been needing for years now. Others on this issue in the original blog have posted some very nice comments, wanting to know how to help.

Oh that is great info to know. I got a privite PM from someone saying he wanted to talk to me. But my cousin and I saw the posts on the site and we got concerned about the attidude and thus their credibility. I got more curious that they could not get on this site. I am also shocked that he has not heard of this case. But I don't know where he is from either. I did hear that AOL members can't get a registration here.

I'd be interested to learn what the specific wonderful work was that he did and if his blogging brought investigators and FBI information that led to arrests. The public awarness blogging brings is great. But I am curious to learn if he got information that led to arrests.

The key for Richard and Danielle is someone bringing information to the FBI. I also wonder if he works with LE's. From what we understand from the FBI on this case, is they know who, but are waiting for a few more pieces. With all the confidentiality, I am not sure if anyone can give Hollistion information other then what has already been made public. All that is on www.richardpetrone.com 100k reward has not motivated anyone. Not sure what else could jolt people to talk.

And I can say with certainty that Richie's parents limit their converations to certain media personalities on the major networks. They are very very privite people. And at this point, they are very quiet about any of the details, other then what has been made public. So, I don't beleive we can offer information other then what is publically out there already. The rest would be considerd gossip. It's all speculation until an arrest and conviction are made.

There is someone that saw something or knows something. Someone who is close to the situation knows what happened. The reward is 100k. That is what needs to be continually put out there.

Holliston doesn't need to interview me nor my family to keep the case out there in the public. If this was truly an altruistic effort there would not have been the harsh reaction to his getting denied access and the attacks toward me an others would not have been tolerated by him. He simply would have tried to reach me. Their fuse was very short and I would not comfortable bringing them to my family given their reactions. We need peaceful participation in this effort to find Richie and Danielle so we can bring them to their final resting place.

The conclusions they were drawing from my comments were absurd. To threaten me and blame me for them "moving on " was absurd. Someone on his site actually Called me out for a fight. What is that about man. My family and I don't have time for that kind of behavior.

And frankly, their behavior diminishes my belief that he can help or that my family would want that kind of support. Sorry if that offends you or them.

My cousin's lost their son. There is a reward. 100k. It is a lot of cash. If his mission is altruistic and he wants to blog about it, he doesn't need my permission nor Richie's parents permission. He can do it because he is compelled by God to help. His contempt for me should not be an issue.

Maybe he can be the one to get through to Danielle's family and friends to learn the public facts from them and get their perspective. Maybe he can get them talking about the facts of Danielle and the abuse she faced with her x. He doesn't need the Petrone family. There is another family that lost a daughter. He is free to go to them for information. He doesnt have to make this about Donna (dmvpenn). Two people are missing.

These are all aspects of the case Holliston is free to explore. He can explore them with Danielle's family. He does not need me to be the vehicle of an interview. Interviewing Daneille's family would a great challenge for him to take on. It would be a noble cause I can tell you. The FBI couldn't make progress ... other media couldn't get a sheard of info about the facts of the abuse Danielle faced ...maybe that can be Holliston's challenge to take on with Danielle's family. His blaming me for not taking action... well... that is his unfortunate choice.

Websleuths does not accept all email addresses. Free emails, personal websites/blogs just aren't accepted.

I can alone say what I understand from the begining. The information that was being put out there to the authorities by Danielle's family and friends when pressed about the relationship with Joe demonstrated support for Joe and out right denial of his abusiveness. And non of her friends and family are heard from when we mark the anniverary dates of her passing. Only God knows why and there may be a good reason for it. I hope.


Now it is so that the FBI doesnt go around telling people who they are pressing on for info, but for at least the first year... support for Joe by Danielle's friends and family was communicated publically and abuse was denied publically. Which is why I am trying to push the dialogue in the direction of domestic violence and pushing Nancy, Greta, Lynne Doyle to do the same type of investigative reporting to examine the aspect of domestic violence and the trends, and outcomes of the women in these relationships in hopes that it gets people talking and really looking in front of them for clues to who did this to Richard and Danielle.

My hope also is that if the people who know who did this, will get concerned that we are getting closer to the truth and that if they speak up ,the 100k reward can help them in starting a new life after the dime the criminals out.

Who knows, what I hope is that the evidenced that produced classifying this case from Missing to murder for hire is more the a breadcrumb trail to the murders. When I look at the elements of this case objectively and put it up on a white board, I trace tenicles to those close to folks in law enforcement that could be close to the person of interest. While I can't say this for sure, it is speculation on my part, the persons who helped with this murder and/or influenced keeping this a clean as they are, must be in law enforcement. Which is why it may be so hard to get people to talk. I feel many people are going to be exposed. Tuff doo doo of course. But I think there is a conspirency beneath this murder for hire.

Ive never been very conspiracy minded but its obvious there is a very formidable force at work here holding the line at absolute silence amongst those who know or suspect what actually happened .
With the publicity,federal involvement and a reward of that size and nothing?
If this was a job done by a couple of Philadelphia street thugs for hire it would have unraveled years ago.
And your right,such unwavering support of an ex-husband by the ex-wife's friends and family is weird in the extreme.
I really hope all this isnt lost on the people actually investigating this.

I agree with kline....100k is alot of money and still no one has come forward with info. perhaps the slime that were hired to "do the job" were paid more than that. I believe this was in the works for quite some time..thought out and planned for months, if not years.

Thats what keeps sticking with me...
This was obviously meticulously planned and executed.
It could not have been cheap,to make two adults and a large truck disappear into thin air and stay that way for years.
Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to make that happen.
Who of all the people Richard and Danielle knew(or hell,on the planet.) would benefit in any way,from that scenario?

I was looking at the aerial maps of the area, and there's a Hess gas station not far from the bridge, South of Flanders Ave., surrounded by water (like Florida), with a large wooded area behind it. Maybe they could have stopped there. :waitasec:

Well, I am a lurker and I do apologize for jumping in, but I am from Philly and live in N.C. now. I have followed this case as well as my family still in Philly. "Chop shops" are prevalent, and a truck can disappear in a matter of minutes. Trust me, my father was one of the biggest car thieves(not proud of that, and he is a law abiding senior citizen now) so I am very aware how quickly a vehicle can be reduced to nothing. Ive seen it myself.....

As much as it bothers me to say this... the authorties claimed to have explored the water ways. That is not to say I beleive it, but my family does. I think that question is best aimed at the Philadelphia police.

Much information, like the request below can be found in chronological order at www.richardpetrone.com You will notice the authorities only share a few of the waterways that were search. Who the heck knows. At this late in the game, who would one press to demand examining every waterway possible?

That said, it is believed they did not stop on there own.

odd is it may sound, not as much as one would think. And believe it or not, peeps still have matress money. And consider maybe payment arrangement was made pending sale of assets. I believe I read that 9 months deep into this, the x was said to have been trying to sell her assets. Ya know, this is what I am talking about or questioning: Does this type of information getting more public attention jeoprodize the case? If so, why? Can someone answer that?

I dont' think in philly it would cost alot to talk some crummy meth addict into killing a couple of people.
