These could obviously be wrong & meant 2 be under his dads name if they’re the same but this is what a background search showed 3 years ago… u would think if it was him it would be flagged by the feds 2 see but if it was fake it should’ve also been flagged I would think… again this could totally be wrong but I thought it was interesting enough 2 share.

Yeah, him & his dad shared the same name and his dad owned the bakery.

On Wednesday, the FBI said in a statement, "Our office remains unwavering in seeking justice for Danielle and Richard, their loved ones, and our city." The bureau added it's offering a $15,000 reward for info leading to an arrest and conviction in Petrone's and Imbo's disappearance.

Meanwhile, Imbo's brother, John Ottobre, declined to talk on camera but thanked investigators in a message and wrote: "It's been an incredibly difficult 20 years without answers about Danielle's disappearance. The pain of not knowing what happened to her has never lessened, and our family continues to hope for the truth."

In the past 20 years, this family never had a funeral for Richard Petrone. His absence has left a hole now filled with desperation for the truth.

"Just let us know something. Let us know something, please let us know what happened," Marge Petrone said. "After all this time, unburden yourself with this guilt and let us know what happened to my son and Danielle."

Thanks for posting this comprehensive article. It is good to know they are still working on this case. I agree - someone or several someones have a "secret"--- they know something-- sadly, it appears these two people are no longer with us. Just so terribly sad.

Derrick Levasseur covered this case on his YouTube show Detective Perspective yesterday. He basically arrives at the same conclusion that many of us on here have come to, namely that Richard and Danielle had an accident while driving, and that they ended up with their car in a body of water.

However, Derrick proposes an interesting twist. Up to now, we've assumed that the pair were headed back to Danielle's place in Mount Laurel, NJ, based on what they said when leaving the bar. But what if they made a last minute decision to head back to Richard's place in Ardmore, PA instead? It was technically closer and would mean not having to pay the toll to cross into NJ, which explains why their EZ-Pass wasn't used. This route would've made them go over the Schuylkill River, so maybe we've been looking in the wrong place this whole time.

It is possible to enter the Schuykill from I-76, from the intersection of South Street to roughly 30th Street Station. It would, however, involve going over (or through) a cement "Jersey barrier." It would be next to impossible to do that without being seen or leaving some evidence of a crash.

Your comment got me thinking. It was Valentine's Day. Suppose that they wanted to take a romantic drive (and possibly park). If they drove up MLK Drive, they could see Boat House Row at night; I think it is usually lit up. They could skidded off the road (there was rain), or they could hit, or swerved to avoid another car.

There are places where there is not even a fence or guardrail between the road and the river.

Yes, that’s a possible scenario. Plenty of accidents/DUIs there.

Also, I gave more thought to whether a car could go off the road unnoticed. Casey Johnston flew off the Woodhaven ramp around 5:30am in 2021. Now, that was a Sunday morning in July during Covid. The city tends to empty out on summer weekends, and there would have been more people on the road in February. But Casey shows it’s possible. Police Find Body of Missing Bucks County Woman

I’m somewhat skeptical that they would go parking: they’re suburban parents in the 30s, not teens with parents/roommates at home. But I can definitely see a romantic drive to see the lights.

I can’t comment on possibilities road wise or anything since I’ve not been even close to the location but I would like to know what evidence leads the feds to believe it was a hit as opposed to an accident in the first place.
