Robert Oliver was last seen in the area of Bobby Lane and Spruce Creek Road in Franklin Township around 4:05 p.m. Saturday afternoon.

Oliver is reported to be 5 foot, 9 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds and has blue eyes. He is believed to be wearing a red and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans and a blue hat and may be driving a tan 2005 Buck LeSabre with Pennsylvania registration GDK-0704.
Oliver may be confused or at special risk of harm or injury, according to police.

UPDATE
Pennsylvania State Police have been looking for a missing 90 year old man from Huntingdon County since June 9th and have recently updated their bulletins with a vehicle that they believe he was driving.

He is possibly driving the vehicle pictured above, a 2005 tan with dark top Buick LeSabre with the Pennsylvania license plate GDK0704.

-believed to be heading toward Boalsburg for dinner with his daughter, his nephew told the Centre Daily Times on Thursday.

-Oliver was familiar with the nearly 20-minute drive along state Route 45.

-his daughter reported him missing within hours of what was supposed to be dinner together.

-was seen about 4:05 p.m. Saturday on a security camera leaving his Huntingdon County home, Earl Lake said.

But Lake’s belief is that his uncle did not make it to Pine Grove Mills. He was not seen on security cameras in the area, Lake said. Instead, his belief is that Oliver either did not make it far from his home or ended up on Marengo or Whitehall roads.

The media has been very behind social media in this case, thankful for the WS-friendly update. I'm very surprised that nothing has turned up yet, even if he headed on the wrong road. It's a rural area but the routes he could have traveled are not particularly mountainous. The fact he wasn't seen in Pine Grove Mills is baffling to me.

June 14 update: Bob Oliver was found dead in his vehicle along Deibler Road, his nephew Earl Lake told the Centre Daily Times about 11:35 a.m. Friday. On the social platform X, state police wrote that Oliver was located but have not publicly released additional information. A state police spokesperson told the CDT that it’s still an active investigation.

MOO - This road wouldn't have been one to take directly to his intended destination, but it is not terribly out of the way and is rather scenic. Hard to judge if he got confused driving or if he had intended to take a scenic route. So sad either way.
