UPDATE: PSP release more details about missing elderly Troy man
Police say Ronald Young was last seen on Friday, March 15, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. He was walking in Troy in the vicinity of the C&N Bank and Dollar General.

Young was believed to have been wearing dark pants, a dark vest or coat, a flannel shirt and a ball cap.

Additionally, troopers say people and businesses in the area are encouraged to check any video surveillance systems that may have recorded Young.

Young is an avid outdoorsman and hiker and is known to walk around surrounding wooded areas. Anyone with game or wildlife cameras in the Troy vicinity are asked to check those for pictures of Young.

Search for missing Troy man now a "search and recovery"
Search crews are returning with no sign of Ronald Young and are expected to stop Tuesday's search.

Pennsylvania State Police and the Bradford County Coroner tell 18 News that the search for 77-year-old Ronald Young is now a "search and recovery" mission.

The latest efforts come after a large search and rescue operation happened on Saturday. Search and rescue personnel, K-9 units, drone surveillance units and EMS personnel scoured a three-mile radius of where Young was last seen, but did not come up with any leads.

Tuesday's search was organized after police say Young's family told them Young liked to hike in a wooded area that had not yet been searched.

Additionally, Pennsylvania State Police tell WENY News a letter was found in Young's home; however, they would not disclose the details of that letter.

Police Conclude Search for Troy Man Nearly Two Weeks After Disappearance
After many man hours spent vigorously searching, the efforts to locate Ronald Young have ended.

"At this point, we've canvassed many many miles and that's about as far as we can at this point without additional information," says Thomas M. Carman, Bradford County Coroner.
