A body found buried Thursday in Derry Township is believed to be that of a Vandergrift woman who went missing in February, Westmoreland County District Attorney John Peck said Saturday.

Peck said detectives “have suspects who they are investigating.”

Wikipedia confirms there are two Derry Townships, one in Dauphin County and one in Westmoreland. My apologies! Never did I think there would be two townships with the same name in the same state. Seems confusing to allow it, for precisely this reason.

Very common. I think there may be a center township in about every county in Indiana.

Derry twp. Is actually in Westmoreland county. There are actually two Derry twps. In Pa. She was found near my home in Derry twp. Westmoreland county.

There has to be more to this than murdering Ronny for some cash and prescription drugs. Ronny and Walter were facebook friends. She had to know him well enough to fall for whatever ruse they used to get her to go into a wooded area at night far from home. Walter has a child as well. I guess some people will kill for some oxy when they're withdrawing or want to rob someone of some adderall to resell, but to brutally murder someone like this? There is some anger there. I think WC pre-meditated it, got his buddy DA to come along with his car before springing the idea on him to help cover it up (DA's quick confession to LE makes me think he is a push-over).
