It seems to me that they know exactly who did this, because they are telling the public there is no need to worry. Sorry, but if a killer is on the loose and a baby is missing- we should be worried. All that means is that this was personal. It doesn't mean that we should feel safe.

at least the latest article sounds like they are onto someone. when they won't discuss anything, then that's good. that means they have clues to work with. maybe family took her, but they aren't harming her. that's what i'm hoping. rather than a crazed baby killer on the loose

I think this is a really good point. Seeing she was taken and not killed with her grandmother, I'm holding out hope that darling little Saavni is still alive. It really does seem like whoever took her went to the apartment with the sole intention of taking her, and grandma was preventing that.
I believe LE probably already have a suspect in mind, that's why they're telling the public not to worry. Sadly, whoever took her is probably on the run, which is why there have been no arrests as yet. :moo:

I haven't seen LE reveal COD for grandma. Stabbed, shot, etc.

I think COD may possibly lead them to the suspect being someone with a personal vendetta against the family.

I'm hoping they're hot on their trail and baby Saavni will be found safe soon.

It seems like the kidnapping must have been the motive for the murder? I just can't think of any other reason why they would have taken the baby with them. If the grandmother was the target, why wouldn't they just kill her and leave? Why take the baby?

NCMEC has updated her poster with clearer pictures. They have also changed the spelling of her name to Saanvi.

Also, despite what the police have said about residents not having to be concerned, the poster also says, " Caution is advised."

I am just getting caught up with this story after following the sad situation of Autumn Pasquale in Clayton NJ. I live a few miles from King of Prussia and also work in the area. LE is very tight lipped about this case. The grandmother may have been beaten and that was reported in several places. A story from the Hindu Times reported that she was shot. There are no reports of gunfire and I initially heard that it was a stabbing, so we really don't know yet.

Additionally, some of the neighbors said that they were thinking of moving because of safety concerns. This has led to speculation, but I think they meant concerns about the apartment complex. King of Prussia is a nice area but that particular building is a disaster. It has been in our local news often because of safety and health reasons.

So, I think it might be helpful if we did some sleuthing as this may not be the inside job some think it is.
