Plane was in the air for about 41 seconds, and only got to about 1600 feet per CNN.

Im more apt to believe there were 6 people in an air ambulance than 2

You would need another person to be with the patient, not just a pilot, right?

Unless there wasnt a patient

Philadelphia fire chief says there are multiple casualties from the plane crash but the exact number is not yet known.

Multiple injured people have been taken to area hospitals for treatment.

There may have been 6 originally, and maybe they were dropped off. So maybe the only people on board were crew.

Improper weight distribution maybe?

You could have a million different things I suppose. Engine failure, operator error of some sort that caused it to stall, what you suggested, etc.

The Learjet 55 has a fuel capacity of 6,707 lbs. they just took off. I wonder how much fuel they had? Was that explosion just from the jet?

<modsnip - quoted post was removed>
It was a complete nosedive. It hit the ground like a missile.

This plane was destined for Springfield MO SGF...I work at SGF in general aviation and was suppose to work this aircraft...we were all crying and upset watching the news.

It sounded like it was some sort of medical transport aircraft.

Conflicting reports. First we heard about Doctors and a patient on board, then we heard about just two people on board.
6 total on board, 2 doctors, 2 pilots, pediatric patient and family member. Learjet55.

Press Conference:

No update on casualties.

Several homes and vehicles were impacted. Asking people to stay away from the scene, and not to touch debris.

United States Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy said there were six people onboard. According to emergency personnel on the scene, the six people were two doctors, two pilots, a patient and likely a family member of the patient
