I've been told by people who live in the area that the walk from Terry's home and Crusan's Bar would have been about a mile and a half. Which seems doable. The surprising part about the Pittsburgh region is that it doesn't really get as cold as you think it might. It doesn't get that hot, either, but it can be surprisingly mild. I attended IUP for two years and I think it only snowed a couple of times while I was there.

Here are the questions I have:

1.) Did Terry decide to go out but leave his wallet and car at home? I can understanding not taking his car if his plan is drinking and he didn't want to risk a DUI, but why wouldn't he have taken his wallet?
2.) Or did Terry leave his wallet at the bar?
3.) Who was the mysterious girl that Terry was talking to? How did the patrons at the bar know it was a girl Terry was talking to?
4.) If Terry did have his car with him at the bar, did he leave the bar and then decide to walk to the house of the girl that he was talking to with the intention of coming back after he was done hanging out?
5.) Did the girl Terry was talking to ever come forward? Was she cleared of any suspicion?

I saw Terry's case is getting some exposure again on Facebook since a few pages have posted about his disappearance. My cousin went to school with Terry, I talked to her a few years a back about his disappearance, but she believes not so good people were involved (she didn't give me any names)

I work in Youngwood - not far from the now defunct Crusan's bar. He could have easily walked. So many left unanswered questions.
Our weather here is up and down. This past winter it was below zero one week and in the 60's the next.

I hope now that his case is back out there in the public, someone talks.

Terry's NamUs profile actually has two newspaper clippings that were written approximately one month after his disappearance.

What I find is interesting is that the police actually seemed to take Terry's disappearance pretty seriously. There was a 100-person search party, bloodhounds, and a state police helicopter involved in the search. Usually they push the "he just ran away from home!" narrative but it makes me think that there was something that came up while investigating that pretty much pointed to foul play.
