I am also (im)patiently waiting for a resolution to this local (to me) case.

I understand I'm over a decade late to this discussion but one thing I think needs reiterated when discussing the trucker's route was the fact that I-68 was not fully completed until August 1991. The final segment to be started & completed was near the exact center of the highway: a 19 mile section east of Cumberland, near the Green Ridge State Forest. Before that, the best route thru Western MD was either US40 (now Scenic US40) or I-68's direct predecessor US48, both of which were two-lane steep, curvy roads not mean for 18-Wheelers. The best route for that truck in 1986 would have been to take I-70 West into PA, taking the PA Turnpike from Breezewood to New Stanton then US119 South thru Westmoreland & Fayette Counties, eventually reaching I-79 South near Morgantown, WV.

This Jane Doe has new pictures uploaded to NamUs.
According to a source working on this investigation, they are still waiting for the DNA to come back.

Seems hispanic/Native or asian ancestry origins.

That's what both my friend and I said (who is in charge of this case) She let me know that these new photos were uploaded to NamUs yesterday. I posted this case on my facebook a few weeks back when her NamUs page was modified and since it's local to me. She then told me this is her case. Small world.
