BRADFORD TOWNSHIP – Clearfield County Coroner Kim Shaffer-Snyder has identified the human skeletal remains that were found in late October in Bradford Township.

Shaffer-Snyder said that the remains were identified through dental records as being 35-year-old Vincent Scott Marcinko from Philipsburg.

“In a missing person’s report in July, state police said Marcinko was dropped off at a Graham Road residence on June 24. He was reportedly last seen when he left on foot on June 27.”

Did he live at that residence?

“The cause of death is still undetermined at this time because of the conditions of the remains,” Snyder said. “The investigation is ongoing.”

That article was back in January, no cause of death 10 months later.

That is one of the most backhanded comments I've read from law enforcement in a while.

This is the county of 7 missing persons and 5 murders in the past 2 years with zero arrests and a police closing rate of zero percent...the mere fact that the Pennsylvania Attorney General has not stepped in to investigate law enforcement locally is actually shocking.

They are missing people in a very small county and every one of them is unsolved and that is inexcusable

Pennsylvania State Police should be looking into these cases. Local lawmen do not have the resources.
