Bellevue Police Department is currently investigating a missing person case. On 2/1/2019 Wendell Caldwell a Bellevue resident went to visit a friend on the Northside and never arrived at her home. The last communication anyone has had with him was when he called her to say he was on his way. After a couple of weeks of not hearing from Caldwell they came to the station to report him missing. Over the past couple of weeks, officers have completed extensive searches and placed phone calls to various locations without any leads. Wendell Caldwell is 56 years old, 5'7", 190 lbs. He was last seen wearing dark brown sweat pants, black jacket, black hat, and black boots. There was a body found in Bellevue on 2/15/19.
BELLEVUE BODY: Body found in wooded area in Bellevue

And human remains found in Highwood Cemetery, Marshall-Shadeland area of Pgh on 2/28/19. Marshall-Shadeland is just down the road from Bellevue.

I've seen no follow-up in the media on either body/remains since they were found.
Either could be Wendell.
