Chesco youth coach, ex-teacher waives hearing on sex assault rap

"William Lee Rhoads, the former Villa Maria school teacher and Little League coach arrested on charges he sexually assaulted four young boys, on Thursday waived his right to a preliminary hearing, a signal that he may plead guilty rather than seek a trial.

Rhoads shuffled into District Magisterial Judge Theodore Michael’s courtroom in leg irons and handcuffs, guarded by two state constables who brought him to court from the Chester County Prison, where he has been held on $5 million bail..."

Far, far worse than I imagined. And I'm left wondering about all the hundreds of other children Rhoads came into contact with....in the US and on his "travels". In his apology, Rhoads asks the victims to "remember all of the good things". And what would that be????

Disgusting. Bless those little boys.

and

"....Not only did Rhoads sexually assault his four young victims, but he filmed the acts and recorded himself talking to the victims as he assaulted them..."

and

"....He also kept a 12-page handwritten journal in which he described what he had done to the boys, “in graphic and excruciating detail,” [Deputy District Attorney, Elizabeth] Pitts said. Chester County detectives investigating the case also found evidence that he had watched the videos of his abuse over and over. The videos “are so horrific they are beyond description..."

and

"....There is audio on the tapes as well which reveal the coercion, bribery and demanding manner and tone (Rhoads) used to command these children into compliance...."
