Where are WSers watching coverage? I usually go to Twitter during breaking news, but almost everything (understandably) is is French. (I don't have TV so taking suggestions for online coverage).

my husband is yelling at the screen, "where are the planes dumping water? "

I was thinking same thing. Where are the helicoptors with those buckets of water they usually drop or planes dropping water and fire retardant.

Wow. Its such a big fire. So sad.

Non MSM, but saw a tweet from someone in Paris saying people are weeping on the streets. I don't have a link, but I believe that to be true!

Thanks for all the links to video, WSers! Switching between them now, plus Twitter. If only all this coordination of watching coverage and managing open tabs on my computer actually helped in some way. Sigh.

oh no, how awful,

This is unbelievable!! I was there in 1989. It's a magnificent place and watching it go up like this is simply heartbreaking.

I'm not sure there's going to be any way to stop the whole area from going up.

They’re getting water on it now, so that’s something.

I hope law enforcement personnel have moved onlookers away from the burning structure. Debris is falling, and people on the ground could be in danger. Very scary

ok now I see a water cannon on CNN

Churches are attacked in France on a daily basis.

Evem if there are no indications now, and even if proof may perish in the fire, be cautious about excluding terrorism. Because the Notre Dame would have been on their list, just as the Sagrada Familia and the Vatican.

In March fire was set to the Eglise Saint Sulpice.
Another fire and destruction in the Cathedral St. Alain in Lavaur.
The St Nicholas church in Houilles was vandalized, statue of the Virgin Mary was smashed to pieces.

Catholic churches in France vandalized, set on fire & smeared with excrement (PHOTOS, VIDEO)
