Paris Hilton to serve time part 2

Okay, y'all have me wondering if she might be having drug withdrawals. If that's why she was released, she'll probably need medical treatment. The shaking and twitching really has me wondering if that's it.
half the people in LA county lockup are going thru withdrawals. they give them meds in the medical facility, Twin Towers, and so she is where she belongs.

It is my belief and prefernce that Justice be served with the greater good of man kind as its ultimate goal. A Justice system that sentances a screwed up young lady to wither away in a jail cell while going thru withdrawls is in my opinion pathetic. This is a young women who has obvious huge mental issues. She needs to be sentanced to a mental facility with rehab to hopefully get her life together and then due community service and drug and alcohol conceling once she gets out. It is not about excusing a rich persons actions. Its about recognizing the diferrence between punishment for the sake of curelty and Justice as a tool for rehabilitation and self improvement. Paris Hilton needs our help, not our ridicule and mokery. Society needs to be able to recognize youth in trouble give them an opportunity for help and redirection irrregardless if they are the homeless kid on the street or Spoilled Rich kid in the Mansion. Shame on us for alowining our legal system to behave so deterimentaly. Double shame on all of us including myself who finds enterantinment out of this failure of humanity.

I understand your point. But no one is asking that she be treated in any way different than any average person. If the average person was convicted of drunk driving and was repeatedly picked up for driving on suspension, they would also be required to serve some time. And if they had a medical condition or a psychological condition or a drug withdrawal, they would use the jail medical facilities.

Yes, there is a lot of public and media attention on it. But I believe the public has been sickened over the OJ and MJ debacles. The public is tired of the celebs and the powerful being able to walk right out of any problems with a little money and influence in the right places. Hopefully things will start to change now with the public showing concern every time a celeb gets into legal trouble.

To me what Paris did showed she really felt she was "above" the law. If I lost my license, I would have to sit at home because I couldn't afford to hire a driver. She could. She just decided to drive herself.

Quite often, however, drug addicts are sent to jail and just made to suffer through their withdrawals.......

Greta said that was her thought...that she's detoxing from drugs.

I only know a couple people that have been in this position and they were sent to a high security medical jail and given meds. not good meds, but meds.
When they say Med facility, it is not like a hospital ward or anything. They just have facilities available and a pharmacy. It is not nice and it is not cushy, nor do they treat you with any compassion. So, please don't misunderstand what I am saying. I do mean that if she does indeed have a medical probelm it will be attended to at Twin Towers.

I jsut read the article about all this on Fox news and they said that Paris was stopped twice for driving on a suspended license.

I thought she was only stopped once. 45 days for violating her probation TWICE - I think she's lucky it wasn't more than 45 days.

Maybe it's sausage withdrawals. :D

Seriously - do they do drug tests in jails?

I'm sure it's sausage withdrawal!! :D
No, they don't drug test them unless there's a medical problem. She may very well get tested if she keeps twitching, LOL.

That is a pretty stiff punishment -- unless there was an accident or alcohol involved. My son didn't spend any time in jail until about his 10th charge. I think it should be mandatory on the third charge.

If that is so then her jail time could actually save her life. IF she follows through after she gets out.

That is true.

And IF that is what her "medical condition" was yesterday or whenever, that they used for her excuse to get out (whether they said that's what it was or just listed symptoms) - - - AGAIN, HELLO!!! Jails deal with detoxing individuals on a daily basis! Ya don't throw them back and say never mind, you can stay home and keep yourself using your substance of choice!

Inmates are reporting that Paris got brand new cell clothes and undies..and it made the other inmates mad.
BUT BUT she put $100 on the books of every inmate in the facility.
They are also saying that BACA PAINTED HER CELL

Too bad the facility is so "overcrowded" Must have cost her a fortune!:D

That's good to know. I'm not a fan of hers but ...

My...My....Don't you know that yesterday, at home she went back to her full load of 'medication' and now she will have to deal with the lower dosage again if they move her from Twin Towers to the jail....

Oh, the tangled webs we weave....

10 CHARGES??? OMG, I hope he is doing okay now!

I have not been following quite as closely as some of you, so I apologize if this has been addressed.

Is it true that she has been ordered to serve the original 45 days now, instead of 23? If so, I don't understand why the judge would impose the full sentence, seemingly based on the fact that her attorneys, shrink, parents, etc. managed to get her out. It's not as if she broke out of jail. Even if money, influence, fame, whatever got her out, why back to the 45 days?

Btw, I really could not care less either way. Just curious.

LMAO!!!! You obviously haven't followed my posts. :slap:
He spent a year in prison for driving without a license. As soon as he got released, he did it again. :loser:
