Your opinion, and mine is very close to that, as well.
However, the part that is still the disconnect to me is why didn't they transfer her to TT or similar, and get her the help she needed for that...versus deciding to send her home. Anxiety attacks with inmates are not rare in the first few days.

Because it was well within the norm to send her home and that is what Baca was banking on. He knows that the average inmate would have not been there after 5 days. So armed with that fact, he felt justified in sending her home when she reached 10% of her sentence.
He just didn't think the judge would go nuts..that was the political move on the part of the judge.
if they knew she had an isue when she first arrived, then I think they would have transferred her over immediately. By the time they realized it was actually a real problem, 10% of her sentence was already served.
He probably thought the additonal time served at home was a good trade off. If she had remianied on home confinement, she would have served the full 45 days.
But he was wrong.

I did read that the other inmate were pretty upset that she got brand new out of the package undies and clothes. The other inmates wear the used ones.
