Our morning local news is reporting that PH called Barbara Walters and BW accepted the collect charges lol.
She told BW that she sees now that acting as though she is dumb is not cute anymore and she wants to make a difference in the world now.
God has given her a chance to do that and she is going to.

I haven't had time to read through this thread and see if there is any discussion of this (or maybe another thread that I didn't see), but my son told me that the Sheriff that let Paris out of the pokey just took a large donation for his campaign fund from a Hilton (donated after Paris was in the pokey, but before he let her out)...I thought he said her grandfather.

Is this true?

I'm unsure about that timeline, but yes, there was a large(ish) donation to Baca - $1000 - the campaign max. Might be interesting to look and see if more has been sent his way through some back doors, less obvious routes.

It's not a lot of money, but if it was donated after Paris was sent to jail, and before the sheriff let her out, there might be an issue.

$1,000 is probably the cheapest that family has ever gotten off when paying someone off!!

Personally I'd like to see Paris turn her life around, she influences a lot of young women and teens.

I don't know if she even comprehends real life...she's never lived it. I don't think that she has ever had anyone in her circle of friends that has lived "real" life. You know, the kind of life where people have to worry about money and working and how to get the yard work done, laundry done and still make it to the little league games.

She might do some fluff...visit children's hospitals or disabled vet hospitals but I'm not convinced that there really is any compassion for those less fortunate than her. Maybe I'm wrong, maybe there is a human being with real feelings in there and she can develop compassion and quit caring about her hair and her makeup.

I really hope for her that she can and does turn her life around but I am sure reminded of the addict who finds religon in rehab....doesn't usually last too long.

Personally I think Paris getting to psychiatric help and medication is the best thing to happen to her. She seems to be acting closer to normal already.

That and having someone take the upper hand for once in her life! I should'nt say that because I dont know how she was raised. But it seems that the people around her are supportive of the life style she was leading.

According to Babs on The View, Paris has found God. So the "party" should be an old-fashioned Revival!!!!

Why is it that God can only be found in jail??? Doesn't He visit churches anymore??? Oh, I can't wait to hear a sermon preached by Paris Hilton!!!
