What a joke this is.. All this uproar over Paris Hilton.. hehe It's such a circus these days.

My own 2c...I don't think this so much about Paris as it is that there seems to be one set of rules for the rich and famous and another set for the rest of us. If she isn't sent back to jail, I can just imagine all the appeals that will flood our Ca court system from inmates citing this case and insisting on the same 'deal' she got, and I wouldn't blame them.
Shat is already hitting the fan at the LASD, and there will be some major fallout over this.

As a side note....I wonder what Martha Stewart thinks of all this....after all...she DID do her time with no nervous breakdowns. That case showed me that there IS justice, even for those with $$$.

Judge Sauer Gets TMZ'd

TMZ was all the talk in open court today.

Judge Sauer said, "I heard Harvey Levin on radio on 710 this morning," discussing that Paris would testify by phone. The judge said he had been unaware that this plan was brewing. Paris' lawyer, Richard Hutton, also said he heard the news from TMZ.

The judge then said he saw the story on TMZ with the headline, "Get Your To Court."

The judge said no one had agreed to telephone testimony. For the record, the court spokesperson told TMZ the testimony would be given by phone.

The judge, whom TMZ has trashed for handing down a 45-day sentence, said, "That tells you about the reputation of some news agencies. Not FOX news, but TMZ."

The judge then said, "Enough of Harvey Levin for the day."

What EXACTLY is her Med condition? Im with the other Poster.....she seems healthy as long as shes out partying, she looks VERY healthy!!
Im in FL, you wouldnt believe the coverage here, unreal! people said ANS was a nobody, well what is Paris, except a rich heiress? Shes nothing really, did she ever even bother to go to college? Does she do volunteer work?
Im glad they took her back to court, none of the rest of us would be allowed to do it by phone.
JBean, my husband had a traffic violation and he had to go to court, he had a perfect record before, well I dont do US 19, where the court was, we spent like $50 on a CAB to get there, we didnt get the convenience of a "telephone conference". He also got a fine and HIS was medically related! I have no sympathy for her, she brought this on herself. Be like Martha S, do the time and quit whining!
If my hubby hadnt shown up for court, went out and got a DUI, he'd be in the slammer right now and so would avg person, this isnt a Political thing, its an avg person being fed up thing
