Very interesting. And yay finally I can eat full fat ranch dressing without feeling guilty! I don't take calcium supplements but does anyone know if there is a warning on the suppplements about the kidney issues? I had no clue it was even an issue.

Mine has a warning.... In teeny, tiny letters, which I hadn't noticed till now.
It says 'Ask your doctor before use if you have impaired renal function'. It also says 'Consult your physician before taking this product if you are presently taking or have recently taken a prescription drug'.

This page lists the drug interactions for calcium. (I had no idea!)

I'm glad I love dairy products. The doctor USE to tell you these things. Kidney stones from too much calcium and not to drink milk with your antibotics. Too much soda (coke) will do a job on your kidneys, as well as large doses of Vit C and B. Chewable Vit C will do a job on your teeth. Never take Vit A if you smoke.

JFYI...White lasagne or pizza is calcium rich. Spinach and mushroom sauce :thumb:
