Pastor of mega church says wife has gone away for 1 year...

i haven't had a lot of time to follow all the cases ive tried to keep up with here....
but this one is a very easy one to pop in and see what is going on.

whenever i check my FB or twitter, which is only now and then lol, i check on the carpenters as it takes a few seconds.

he has removed the 'corndog' photo from his FB...he got a LOT of negative comments about it. it is still on his twitter and there are a few negative comments. i actually saw one posted and now it is removed. i should have taken a screen shot...but it was pretty much saying that ron was a disgrace having that photo. lol the other negative comments are still there.

on his fb someone asks him about hope adding the recent pic of her and then posts a blog that some woman (is she here?) has been blogging about hope missing. maybe it is her that is reaching out on FB/twitter lol

ron RESPONDS saying hope is recovering well and got to come home for a Christmas break. AGAIN i didn't take a screen shot and its GONE now!!!!!!! grrrrrr

seriously, im mad i didn't get that screen shot!! but what is going on that he would remove an innocent post asking about hope??

I hate to say this but every time I see a picture of Ron he just plain gives me the creeps ... call it gut instincts or intuition or spiritual discernment there is something spooky about the guy.

Then when I watch him live on video .... I see a "great performance" (and he does it well ) .... but the man himself is hiding something behind the acting.

Not to mention the strange twitching and mannerisms when he is on stage

I see none of that in Hope .... she is what she is ... even if she has been a bad girl and tried to cover it up , it falls within typical human failings and indiscretions with a dose of hypocrisy .... things we can all relate to .... nothing especially creepy or spooky about that or about her.

As a Christian I am reluctant to find fault with others , my function is to examine myself .... but in modern day we see so many "church leaders" stray off into lala land and we must be careful ... I am concerned with the audience and congregation Ron is influencing .... he uses way too many elements of a brainwash ... he is trying to come out smelling like a Rose but his perfume has a strange aroma.

If it's the pic I think everyone is referring to, it shows a young woman holding a very large corndog up to her mouth. It could be interpreted as being sexually suggestive. I don't remember the text that accompanied the pic.

MOO, Ron Carpenter gives off some seriously creepy, entitled, shyster vibes. He's making money hand over fist with this self-focused mega-church and it's pretty gross.

Initially I was concerned about Hope's disappearance, but am leaning towards her being complicit. My guess is that she is away at a rehab facility, that she needed to pull completely out of the limelight, so to speak. I'm also leaning toward Ron having some sort of dirt on her and her going along with the initial "family discussion" at church because of it-either coerced or out of guilt. It is entirely possible that she is away in treatment for something-whether substance abuse, sex addiction, or mental health issues or a combination and that she willingly has left the church/public roles for it.

His throwing her under the bus was still gross, but I could see her going along with it all for guilt or greed, or just an excuse to be out. If it's complicit, it explains the reactions of family & friends.

I'd also guess that private emails/discussions are happening explaining things which is why there's not a more public uproar. Granted it's a big church, but I could see people staying mum protectively. Many churches have congregational email lists that wouldn't necessarily be seen by the public at large.

Still entirely possible that there are more sinister happenings going on, I'd not put that past any smarmy snake-oil salesman as this guy appears to be.

Again, MOO and it's been awhile since I've read the TOS so hopefully I'm okay in what I've posted.

I don't remember the text but I do remember it was a really big corn dog. Larger than I have ever seen...and I live in Texas. Smaller than Gov. Rick Perry's corn dog but I would say it is as big as Michelle Bachman's corn dog as seen in this picture.

I can see it now...donations from all the well wishers on his Facebook, then a highly successful sellout seminar in February. Can we speculate this was one well planned scam from the get go?

Well we all had an idea that this was definitely a distinct possibility. Ron so loves being in the spotlight as a beleaguered man who has suffered thru the trials of life and comes thru it with the help of Jesus and he wants to show you how to do it to (for a fee of course).

So if this is the case, then Hope was probably off getting a facelift, and no hospital or doctor could comment on that because of Hippa. She could have even gone out of country for it. Then she comes back, all refreshed looking and it is proclaimed to be a miracle of the Lord and Hope is reborn in Christ and she just glows with health (aka facelift and surgery).

This is thoroughly disgusting. There was NO reason for Ron to go so public and to make the claims that he did. he was specifically vague so he can tailor his ever changing story to fit the way he wants to spin it.

Liar,Liar, I wish his pants would catch on fire!!

And shame on Hope for going along with this disgusting charade.
